  1. If the power to the TV is staying on, it sounds like electrical interference to some section of the low voltage wiring. What kind of source is connected to the TV (satellite, apple tv, etc) and where is it located in relation to the tv (av closet, or at the tv)? Are there other sources connected to the TV that react the same way?
  2. Awesome, hope it helps. We had the same problem on 2 of our doors where the bolt would slam against the jamb from accidental touch. For whatever reason people seem to bump the screen on those doors (not the others) and I had to disable the "fist bump to lock" feature lol.
  3. There is a menu option in the settings of the lock to disable one touch locking. I believe it's 3,3,3.
  4. I'll be the outlier here and suggest looking into rainmachine. There is no c4 driver, but they do publish their rest API (local and remote) if you wanted to do something with it. I've had 2 of the touch HD units running for about 7 or 8 years with no problems. We have 22 zones and just shy of 90 sprinkler heads throughout the property. Your concern was the primary reason I chose this over Rachio. My landscapers and sprinkler guys can easily start and stop zones, make any adjustments right from the units themselves without having to use the app.
  5. That's a bummer. I appreciate all the feedback.
  6. Got it. Guess I'll give this a shot using voicemonkey and speak with my dealer about getting the tcp driver installed along with a couple buttons. I'd be happy with some way to trigger it from the c4 app. Not interested in starting it from inside the shower and to my knowledge, no way to have multiple panels in a single valve. Control cable distance also becomes an issue due to the size of the new space.
  7. Thank you. You're talking about the virtual button?
  8. Good afternoon. I've read the threads on Moen U and gather there still isn't a driver or direct integration. Any recommendations on the best way to get access to this from control4? Is it still Alexa virtual buttons or whatever that's called? Sorry to rehash this again. Figured I'd check and see if anyone has any suggestions. Thank y'all!
  9. I'm not talking about spying. I'm talking about targeted advertising, which was the point you objected to in your earlier comment. Your interpretation of "interaction data" excludes anything unintentional by Amazon (misfires, misconfiguration on the Amazon side, manually fed employee translation data entry, etc). My interpretation does not. Neither interpretation makes targeted ad responses a pure "coincidence" or changes the fact that your voice data, on Amazon devices, is used for targeted advertising. For the record, I have a dozen echo devices, a couple google devices and Josh. Alexa drives me absolutely nuts. There are things you simply can't disable. That was my push to Josh. And even on a full Josh implementation (which I'm not on), I would still have to keep Alexa around. Not advocating one platform over another.
  10. https://arxiv.org/abs/2204.10920 It's not like data harvesting for targeted advertising is a new thing.
  11. I'm new to Josh as we have started testing it out. I asked this exact same question a couple weeks ago and it's not possible today. But, according to Josh, it's coming. You can start music on multiple zones, but no way to add other zones (at least natively within josh).
  12. Thanks. I forgot to point out that there is a trial version of IP Webcam as well by the same author (it's a separate app and your settings won't carry over between free and pro). Macrodroid doesn't require root and is licensed per play account (not device). I believe there is a trial version for that one as well. I run Fully Kiosk single app (licensed per device) to keep the c4 app and the screensaver app kiosked which was important for us. If Kiosk is important and you don't want to buy another piece of software you could probably get pretty close with Macrodroid alone as it's pretty powerful (I never bothered to try as I've been using the Fully software for years).
  13. Hi Amr, it's "IP Webcam Pro". Allows you to setup RTSP and ONVIF, and it can run in the background. License is good for every device signed into the same play account (not licensed per device). I'm not sure if I'm allowed to share links, but here it is: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pas.webcam.pro
  14. Not sure if the process is the same across all of these, but I went from the zwave module to the August module on a Yale assure a couple years ago. I had to go into the lock settings (keypad menu) and leave the network with the zwave module installed before I could get the lock to recognize the August module. Don't forget to remove batteries when replacing the modules.
  15. Not sure how committed down the ipad path you are, but I'm doing something similar with android tablets and figured I'd share just in case you were looking for other ideas. I have (5) Samsung a7 and a8 tablets running kiosk software to the c4 app (cheap tablets, nothing fancy). My favorite part is using them as replacements for bulky indoor cameras to stream back to my nvr 24x7 (with audio). It just runs in the background, doesn't interfere with usage. Macrodroid to dim and brighten the screens at certain times of the day and night (and to help with some basic tablet management). Screensaver after 5 minutes. In android, there is a setting to allow the batteries to only charge to 85% and another to disable fast charging. I'm using 24v passive Poe into a small buck converter to essentially just trickle charge the tablets. I have the injectors on a kasa power strip in my AV closet timed to charge for 4 hours, discharge for 4 hours. Using inexpensive 3d printed mounts. Working on color match painting one right now before we deploy a few more.
  16. I'm using a mix of BluOS (NAD ci-580) and native c4. A couple players from each dumped into a Parasound 4dax and then directly into a Zektor 16x16 matrix, the rest using the respective built in DACs into the Zektor. Stack of audio control and Rotel amps being fed from the zektor. I use Roon (not integrated with C4) standalone to a Bluesound player (also not integrated with C4) in a dedicated listening room. Qobuz primarily, Pandora, NAS stored music, some internet radio and a little Tidal. On my previous Elan system I used Sonos Connects and an Autonomics MMS and was largely on Spotify, locally stored music and Tidal.
  17. Just to add another option, Bluesound / BluOS may be something to look at as well. The BluOS integration with c4 works well (tidal, qobuz and locally stored playlists, individual tracks, search, album art, mini apps, etc through the c4 app). We use a mix of BluOS and c4 native streaming. The c4 native streaming certainly has deeper integration (ability to favorite specific playlists or stations to a room, etc). If I had a larger controller I would likely use native across all my zones (Josh.ai may be what forces that change for me). We originally had some Sonos stuff when we moved from our previous system to control4 but quickly got rid of it for the reasons you mentioned. Even with our previous system, Sonos integration was severely crippled when all the Sonos changes happened years ago.
  18. If you've fully tested and discovered the wire is damaged, you can try running the speakers in parallel. Your triads are 8ohm. If you have access to be able to pull another 2 conductor speaker cable between the 2 speakers (+ to +, - to -), you could run these in parallel which will present a 4ohm load to your amplifier (assuming your amplifier supports 4ohm). You won't have true L and R stereo so you will need to put your matrix into "mono" or "summed" so that both speakers receive the R and L channel information. Obviously, power off your amplifier first and Disconnect the damaged wire from non working speaker (and the amplifier).
