thecodeman
I just use a generic DVD driver. sony, whatever. as long as it has the HDMI/whatever port to make the binding. not sure if there is one that shows a computer for the icon though.

badjesus
I have done Plex home theatre in the past but I was hoping for something that would actually have a computer icon?
SMHarman
There is one with a tower computer icon. See the one called Phone below.

Cyknight
Mac Driver or Windows PC - it has a different Icon than you'd get if using a DVD driver.
CFUG
I have not seen a listed driver with a mini tower icon. Is this something beyond 2.5?
thecodeman
yeah there's a mac "Driver", i forgot about that.
MakeItAMudLight
I've had it on my system since 2.5.3.
Cyknight
As far back as 2.4 for sure here - could even be earlier, I go through too many versions to be sure. And my secondary program drive these earlier versions reside on just crashed...
CFUG
Hmm, did a search both local and online and found nothing. 2.5.
Cyknight
Look for Apple as the manufacturer - that should give you the "Apple Mac". This shows up[ as DVD icon in Composer but as a screen and tower on screens. Alternatively, here's a driver I've made that will display a laptop icon: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ay0hgragfgrf6y3/dvd_Lumagen_Radiance%20XD_XE%20secondary%20control%20_IR_%20MkII.c4i?dl=0 Brand Lumagen. It's a companion driver to the Lumagen Scaler Driver I made, but will work as a stand-alone 'fake' source driver just fine. No, no need to mod anything - there ARE some 'extra' icons in C4 available if you know how (see also the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 icons). Before you ask - no, no BluRay icon
turls
Speaking of icons/drivers, don't get why Amazon Fire is treated like a cable box...when Roku and Apple TV aren't.
Cyknight
It would depend on the proxy they chose to use - they may have chosen cable box due to button availability in the 'touch' interfaces vs a different proxy.Unless it's just the Icon that's cable. Why, not sure but differentiating for some reason?

Just a "things that make you say hmmm" not a big deal.

Cyknight
? If you're looking to control Lumagen - the drivers are on their web page
CFUG
^No, I only needed the laptop icon and the virtual connections. You provided that and I thanked you.
Cyknight
Ah ok, just wanted to make sure - as the driver I linked isn't ment to be used as the actual driver for a Lumagen as a video switch (I made different ones for that purpose) - technically it's just a driver to give an installer or the end-user direct control over the unit through the system.
