Impending Control4 iOS app update?

Cyknight, my controllerHC250  recently failed and I had it replaced, the dealer said he reloaded the latest controller firmware and my configuration on the replacement controller (Hc250)....all worked for a day or so, then coinciding with iOS 13 update my C4 app won’t connect via cellular to my controller....do you have a suggestion for my dealer? Or is this a C4 app iOS incompatibility issue?

A new version of the 2.10 beta app is out and it has the fix for crashing at startup when using biometrics (TouchID/FaceID).  If you've already downloaded TestFlight you'll be notified of the new build, if not, then you can use this following link (it's the same one from my previous post).

Hey @jakblak so the app has been solid, no crashing. However, after a period of time the app no longer asks for TouchID, it just sits at the passcode screen. It accepts the passcode and lets you into the app. I went into Preferences and verified TouchID is still on. Had to be a few days before this started happening since I've installed the beta app.

On iOS 13?  If so, seems to be a known touchid bug in iOS...

Well kind of related, I did upgrade to 13.1.2 so maybe that triggered TouchID to stop working within the app. It's been a tough week keeping up with the iOS updates lol. But at least it hasn't started to crash the app again.

EDIT: On second thought I think you're absolutely right @brentethat this is an iOS issue and not an app issue. Sorry for the false alarm! @jakblak

This is indeed an Apple bug.  If you shake your device (really), the TouchID alert will show up.

I am on OS2 still and running the beta version with the latest bug fixes but it is soooo slow right now to load and respond to any command it’s virtually made the system unusable. The Alexa commands seem to still work as before but that’s a limited amount of functionality compared to what I need on the app. Anyone else got serious speed issues as well on the app loading?

So I Just deleted the C4 app and reinstalled on my iPhone. It took 2 mins and 45 seconds to sync my system to the app. It has never been like that before. Then after the app synced it took 75 seconds for the app to fully load so I could select music, or change the temp etc. very slow.

This problem is related only to your system, mine is super fast, my advise have your dealer check it up or open a ticket with C4 to investigate this odd behavior.

how many systems have you tested on that you know it's only his system?  I think all you can say is your fast and his is slow...
