adam333
both 250s and 260s have an email trigger to work when the battery gets to 5% or lower. I just switched from disposable AAs to rechargables. Im getting constant emails from them despite their charge being in the 80% range. Anyone come across this? in an older post I saw someone mention to switch the remote to "recharge station" I could do that on the 250s, but the 260's will not allow me to do it. tmj4
Most rechargeable AA and AAA batteries do not report charge level correctly compared to standard AA or AAA batteries. The same thing happens with our Roku remotes that use rechargeable Eneloop batteries.
penn65000
Get the charging stations. They’re fantastic. I bagged batteries years ago.

I believe that rechargable batteries start at a lower voltage than alkaline and start to decline quicker. Alkaline batteries will read about 1.60 when new whereas rechargables often start at 1.45 and start declining more linearly. Rather than holding their initial voltage for a long time and falling off a cliff as they get used up. So when new you will be getting 6.4V from alkalines with 4xAA while more like 5.8V from rechargables.

My SR250s all have charging stations (same for my SR260s). Battery alerts working perfectly for me (I alert at 25%) on 7 or 8 SR250s and another 6 or 7 SR260s.
