pinkoos
What are people using in terms of wall mounted Sonos control these days? I've heard of the Lutron Pico, Brilliant, Orro...any other options people are either using or have heard about? This would be independent of Control4, so C4 compatibility is not needed Thanks
Neo1738
I have a couple of PICO switches for control just outside the shower door. Pause/Play, Volume up/down, and I programmed top button for shower heater fan and lower for vent fan.
chopedogg88
Brilliant touchcreens work nicely.

Specifically the volume rockers on the bottom of the KPD
pinkoos
Thanks for the replies I went ahead and ordered the Lutron Pico remote + bridge to try out, seemed to be the least costly and easiest to install option at this point

Which bridge did you buy?
pinkoos
If I'm permitted to post links, here is the bridge: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XPW67ZM/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 And here is the Pico remote: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LC7O9MY/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 NB I learned after the fact that the 'non-audio' remote would have worked just fine, albeit with different labels for the buttons. Not sure why Lutron charges double for the 'audio' version, though I guess they're just taking advantage of the niche market In order to wall mount it, you need this bracket: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JZRAFEA/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And, for my purposes, I bought the 3 gang wallplate: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000V2UMU/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Since I wasn't sure if I wanted to wall mount it or keep on my desk, I had also gone ahead and bought the desk pedestal: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003WGU2MU/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 It was only $10, so I'll probably just keep it rather than return, in case I either want to pull the Pico off the wall or just buy a second Pico to keep on my desk Anyway, I set it all up last night and it works great and was super easy to install onto the wall HTH

I only thought the pro bridge worked with Control4? I'm still confused about all the lutron options. Never mind, I just read that you are only looking for sonos control. Control4 integration isn't necessary. My bad. I don't know really b/c as I had mentioned, I wasn't worried about C4 integration
tekki70
The regular bridge will also work with c4 as long as you use the lutron leap driver, I have several projects that clients already had casetta and a hub and I’ve integrated it msgreenf
pinkoos
I love this thing - has me using my Sonos Play 5 gen 2 much more No screens to deal with, no music to 'choose' - you just push the round central button to cycle through your favorites I cleaned up my favorites to only include Apple Music stations right now, so when I cycle through them, they start out with different tracks each time (as opposed to playlists or albums that would start out with the same song and would, thus, require me to open the Sonos app to either turn on shuffle or choose a different track, etc.) Only drawback is a Sonos limitation, not a limitation of the Lutron - Sonos favorites are always presented in alphabetical order...there's no way to re-order the favorites, so you have to cycle through them to reach your, for example, 'favorite' station each time The workaround for that is putting a number in front of whatever you want to be presented as first in the favorites list Anyway, this Lutron Pico is awesome Edited January 27, 2022 by pinkoos

You can find the regular bridges pretty cheap.
OceanDad
For those of you that use Pico remotes in different places, Etsy is a great source of different brackets and holders for them. Just search 'Pico Remote' for some ideas that are a bit different to the basic Lutron offer.
