Nehsmit
Hi all, I have the yale real living locks in my house and need to get some more. I was wondering if they are still the best for integration with C4 or are there better options available? TIA
chopedogg88
The Yale locks have been discontinued currently because of major supply chain issues. Your best bet is to use Kwikset.
BXTR
Stick with Yale, it’s what you know and will keep the operation consistent with existing deadbolts on your property They aren’t discontinued at all, although there was a shortage of the C4 zigbee radios at one point but that has been resolved
chopedogg88
That's strange because I just checked the dealer portal again to be sure, and every single Yale product says that it is unavailable for purchase.
dcovach
They're in stock in my dealer portal (Non-US version).
Neo1738
Might just be a US issue then.
Nehsmit
Yeah my dealer can’t get there or the Kwikset locks. Any other options?
Topspin14m
Yale has locks that use August. Those can be integrated with C4 using the August driver - the Assure series. I have one. You can buy them on Amazon - readily available. https://august.com/pages/connected-by-augustSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have the cards in stock if you need Kwikset cards. You can go buy any off the shelf Kwikset smart code lock and make it Control4 compatible. Usually much cheaper this way as well. Topfox
I have Kwikset. Like 6 or 7. I had one die, but Kwikset warrantied it without any hassle at all. Otherwise, knock of wood, they have worked out great for me this far. Been over a year.
DanITman
Yeah Kwikset is great and their returns/support is very good. I have five and the locks have been great.
