Unfortunately it won't. The door station does not expose it's image to 3rd parties. This is due to a hardware chipset limitation from what I've been told by control4.

Will let you know how it goes as time goes by. Comes rooted as well so can install LANmote for android control using the kodi driver.

Google only outputs in mo3. Control4 only supports wav. Was one of the first I looked into

The c4i file has XML tags for hvac_modes and fan_modes. You can eliminate modes by removing them from these tags from the file and then saving it. Note that this is every mode available. You cannot add additional modes. <hvac_modes>Off,Heat,Cool,Auto</hvac_modes> <fan_modes>Auto,Low,Medium,High</fan_modes> in your case the hvac_mode will look something like this. <hvac_modes>Off,Cool</hvac_modes>

Our driver only allows you to inject variables into the body.

The EC-100 was never designed to work in a normal Control4 system (The EC100 is essentially a stand alone control4 system designed to work with the thermostat and with the utility).

At my own home and at various showrooms and clients houses in australia and new zealand I have the following setup "Good morning name, the forecast for today is <forecast> with a minimum of x and maximum of y degrees. The current temperature in your home is z." Note this is using our weather drivers. I cannot comment on using our announcement driver with other 3rd party drivers I have not tried.

Limitations will always disappointing someone. Alternative solutions will never please people as they always want the limitations resolved but at least I'm thinking out of the box Unfortunately due to the nature of the problem only control4 can resolve it, Not sure what else I can do apart from offer a refund for those who are not happy with the limitations. Brings me back to the point always trial out of drivers first prior to purchase to make sure you're happy.

Unfortunately i don't think it'll be something they're willing to change. From experience firmware change requests to their system are long and painful (i'm still waiting for stuff from 8 years ago). My house reads out the weather forecast, termperature inside my house and the energy usage of my house every morning just fine. I think you might need to choose the right variables to utilise and cut down on your wording. Are you using our internet weather forecast drivers as well? The latest Sonos driver has this functionality from what i can see.

Unfortunately there seems to be a limit in Control4's announcement agent. I am not sure if it is size related or time related though but you are correct it does cut out. Not much we can do about it though. If you have sonos however Extra Vegetables has a solution detailed in their installation guide that will work with our Advanced Announcements driver that does not utilise Control4's announcement agent.

If the app has a custom URL scheme then it should work. The Pushover driver has the ability to open links on notification. Alternatively you can use the pushover driver to get an image snapshot of your driveway camera. That is what it does best.
