We discovered the issue and have resolved it.  Have pushed out an update so the driver will automatically update itself within the next 24 hours.  Please let me know if you encounter any further issues.

For whole home energy monitoring we have two solutions.  You can use he eGauge which has 10 CT clamps and is IP based.  Our driver has minimum and maximum triggers on each circuit so you can program what to do when it exceeds those values.  You can also use the Saturn South products which is Zigbee based and have either a single clamp or three clamps.  Again our driver has a minimum and maximum trigger on each clamp.
if however you want to monitor an individual outlet then I recommend using the belkin wemo insight switch.  Our driver has minimum and maximum triggers on it as well plus you can auto select devices.  This is useful for no control devices such as Playstation, Xboxes, etc.  Control4 will auto select the device when it detects that it has left an idle state and will auto turn off the room if it is still the selected device when it returns to an idle state.

if you hold the buttons down it will achieve this until you let go at 8x speed otherwise it'll do the small step fwd / back.

With the variable manipulator you can do this using os.time() and os.date().

I just want to add that without the support of paying customers we honestly can't do this as a business so it would be silly for us to not support those who support us:)  So we do everything we can do to make those who have bought licences off of us happy.

UPDATE 

The IntesisBox driver for Control4 now includes 10 x zone relay bindings which can be named. This makes damper based zone control extremely easy to control with full 2 way feedback of relay states in the Thermostat interface.

They are basically a fake device with different icons for different indicators i believe @alanchow has more thanthe ones c4 provides. But they must be added by a dealer. Them be programmed in either pro or he.

Plus the additional functionality of the IFTTT driver is so powerful. I highly recommend it because you we'll find all kinds of other things to add. 

If Arlo can send an IFTTT trigger when the security cameras detect motion then, yes! @alanchow 's driver can enable exactly what you want in C4.

The uptake on the IntesisBox driver has been going nuts since we launched it.  If you would like i can recommend a Chowmain dealer who can help install the driver and get Intesis to recommend a recommended HVAC installer who can install the HVAC system and IntesisBox.  That way theres no guess work.
Thats not how it works.  The IntesisBox provides information back to our driver and our driver reconfigures itself to match your HVAC system.  It will add the available modes, fan speeds, setpoint limits and vane control configuration.  Alot of these options are not available in the Control4 Thermostat.
If you really must you could program the thermostat to send commands to the driver and vice versa but i personally don't think this would be a great experience.

Err.. yes EVERYONE has that same issue with EVERY source. That's how Control4 operates. Some systems work the other way around, but the though behind C4's method is that you can - for example - pause a movie, check the news and go back to the movie without interruption. Vs -say- Logitech, do that and the Oppo would have to power back up, load the disc again and so forth.
Better or worse is an opinion, but what you describe is how C4 has functioned since it began....
