  1. Maybe an app bug or update bug:
    1. Open app on ios (its up to date)
    2. Go to cameras
    3. It is very snappy
    4. Open a camera (all this works)
    5. Press arrow top left to go back to all the other cameras

    App exits.

Rebooted devices tried again same issue.
    Drivers for cameras:
X6 Cameras via BlueIris commercial driver
X5 Cameras Chowmains Wyze Camera driver

  2. I have to give huge props to David been running his drivers for MQTT since early days and even since then been using it on some pretty sensitive equipment i.e. my solar farm running my house that publishes to MQTT.

His support willing to add features and help directly has been nothing short of phenomenal so thank you David!

The MQTT driver just opens up the world of C4 to so much more

    Regards
    Carlos

  3. On the Neo what would be really cool is to lock the screen. The screen sensitivity is so dam good but often find me opening my garage or front gate by mistake when the remote is next to me on the bed etc. Would really be cool if you could lock it and unlock by holding a key or code. #FeatureRequest.

  4. Tbh getting the value and programming logic isnt the issue. The value will be exposed as a value from the web server on the camera. So someone like Mitch can expose it as a value for programming.

the key is finding a camera that has reliable temp reading via thermal. I played around with it a while ago to track animals in my back yard. Thermal is a hit and miss based on the price of the camera 🙂

  5. Thank you. What its doing now is its giving a zip file in the zip file is the driver.xml, lua file, www folder with the images. No driver file.

For the application id I am specifying the “com.” that Display Apps action button gives me. That correct ?

You can now modify or build your own universal mini drivers here: https://mdc.rjboucher.com

There's a few 'source' options for things like the annex4 LG and Panasonic driver, but as of the latest push it will do universal mini drivers as well.

There's also a field for entering Vizio Application ID's for the universal mini drivers as support for mini drivers will be available with the annex4 Vizio driver soon.

Just a few questions on the link.

You create the mini driver and download. It downloads a  few files. Do I need to open it in DriverWorks and compile it to a .c4 driver file before I can use it?

  7. Hi all,

So I got a 86" LG TV - Great TV. The default C4 Driver seems to work well. I have a question on the "mini drivers" for the applications you can install.  I installed and connected all the ones I found in the 2186 drivers in composer.

The question is around what about the other apps on the LG TV that there is no mini driver for in composer. Is there a way to link them as there are many Mini App connections available but don't know how to connect the other apps to it. Any suggestions?

should be in the communications agent.

Thanks Matt I checked there all I see there are all the T3s which are correctly named. Somewhere something is called C4 Call Group and its being used as the display name for when someone rings the door bell.
I just cant seem to find it anywhere

  9. I have the same setup and same issue. Reality though is that all other video services work perfectly with my unifi network and i have a very big unifi network.

Did support say anything about how to deal with it happy to also provide logs. I doubt its unifi as everything else works all other video streaming works ...
