  1. Well, it's spring, sprinklers are running again, and again my Rachio integration with Control4 is not working. Anybody else with issues, maybe from a Rachio API change? I'm using the Blackwire driver, which hasn't had any recent updates.
  2. But without having multiple paths, you are taking a risk. Especially if there is malicious intent to remove your home from monitoring. I'd be fine with $10 a month, but the months I don't use it I don't want to have to pay. I haven't decided something I use once every few months is worth yet another recurring fee.
  3. Definitely the way to go, you want divergent paths. Problem is I haven't found a pay-as-you-go cellular option.
  4. Ambient Weather WS-2902 Weather Station has Solar Radiation sensor and you can program with IFTTT off of that number.
  5. If I try to pick "WU" from the Service Selector dropdown, then click Set, it changes briefly but immediately reverts to C4. I have a Weather Station that I upload data to WU with and want to use WU as the option.
  6. Between my ongoing system issues, and my lack of time, I'm just now verifying that even when I have the newest driver loaded...2.9.195, there is no "DIMMER" command available in the driver which prevents me from doing the region change (using a chip add-on) through Control4, as a reminder here is a copy and paste of my previous post: the sequence is DIMMER , DIMMER , DIMMER , MUTE , (1,2, or 3) for Region A, B, or C, then a power cycle. Do I still have an issue and "DIMMER" is supposed to be an available command? There is a huge list of commands available but that critical one is missing. There are multiple commands for MUTE including on, off, and toggle so hopefully I'm good there at least. EDIT: This was a driver update issue, I have this command now.
  7. Interested to know this as well, a new beta driver for Oppo 20x was just released so it isn't a dead product--yet...of course I am not sure if anything at this point needs a driver update as major changes may not be coming from Oppo...
  8. I'm reading that as since I have a weather station and provide data to WU, I should be able to still access my own data. But it's a month away and they haven't finalized that.
  9. Haven't really looked at the new ones, but FloLogic not being able to be turned back on remotely is a pain if there is a false alarm.
  10. Because Flologic requires different programming whether the relay is on or off. With just getting a state change, no way to know for sure which way it is. And I have 8 zones changing state very close to each other so overlap could be an issue. Maybe simple for you seasoned programmers but I'm still a novice compared to some of you guys... I actually found something in the Rachio driver that may work for me, you can program on if all zones are off. So I'm going to give that a shot first.
  11. Ok, doesn't seem foolproof with a lot of state changes among the different zones so close together, but I'll give it a shot. Thanks.
  12. Still not seeing enough to work with. Checked that previously.
  13. Ok, but can you explain why you say you have on and off triggers and all I see (in the screenshot) is selected? I'm not wrapping my mind around using "selected" to achieve my programming.
  14. Ok, I need to make sure we are on the same page here. If I do a search in Composer on "sprinkler", the only two options that come up that are valid: relaysingle_sprinklers_c4.c4i (dated 2005) timer_sprinkler.c4z (dated 2016) Is there another one besides those? Because your page currently says: "The Rachio Driver for Control4 also fully compatible with Control4’s new Sprinkler Experience Button and standard sprinkler relay drivers." I included an image of all I have for the Sprinkler timer (Experience button) programming options. Sorry I'm sure I'm missing something...
  15. I've got both in the project, but all my programming was based on the old drivers. If I'm supposed to use the newer, drivers, I don't see any on / off programming on them. Just selected, and timer variables. If I need to open a ticket I can...
  16. I have to control an override of Flologic leak detection using relays. So my programming says once the generic sprinkler drivers are turned on, I override Flologic during the duration of the sprinkler. Since one zone goes after the other, this results in multiple on/off cycles of Flologic override. So: Rachio driver triggers sprinkler relay When sprinkler relay engaged, programming turns on a physical relay that is connected to Flologic that overrides leak detection When sprinkler turns off, override is discontinued. That repeats for each zone triggered by the dymanic Rachio programming If it doesn't engage correctly, after a set programmable period of time (30 minutes normally, but adjustable), it thinks there is a leak and turns off the water.
  17. Driver failed in only the 2nd sprinkler run since I loaded the BW driver. Programming is going to be problematic unless I'm completely overlooking something without a consistent "near instant" two-way feedback for my application. I guess I'll open up a ticket when I have time unless you have anything simple to try to speed things up.
  18. Might want to check your drivers then. I get the generic support link, which includes this text: "HouseLogix is committed to helping you be successful with our solutions. We do our best to respond within 4 hours or less during normal business hours (M-F 8:30am – 5pm Eastern). Please note that some of the products we offer are supported by their manufacturer or partner and response times may vary." No indication to contact you directly. Besides that, the Rachio driver is in-house Houselogix AFAIK? So in that case you just don't get support at all, I guess. Either way, no excuse for an unmonitored support portal that no one is ever going to respond to if they've abandoned it.
  19. Never got a level of consistent support from Houselogix in the past. SnapAV bought them two years ago. They still have the driver portal and provide first level support for drivers bought there, although many 3rd parties have left or have alternate options for new sales. Opened dealer support ticket on May 25 for their Rachio driver Followed up on June 1 ZERO response. Ridiculous. Sell the store to someone else if that is the level of dealer support offered now. If anybody is still paying them for first level support, you might want to re-think that relationship. Rant over.
  20. Yes, just bought it and downloaded this week. I'll investigate further.
  21. @Kevin L in my testing tonight, it took about a minute for my Navigator screens sprinkler relays to update with the state. Is this an API limitation that is going to be a typical? The reason I ask is that my programming for my Flologic that overrides leak detection depends on being able to turn on the override when the sprinkler turns on, and turn off the override when the sprinkler turns off. I need to make sure the "off" for the previous zone doesn't come after the "on" for the current zone or my programming will be off. I can put in delays, but that depends on a fairly consistent delay in the Navigator feedback. Thanks for any input.
  22. Gave up on Houselogix and moved to Blackwire's reasonably priced option. Had a support ticket open at HL since 5/25 and no response. I was looking back through my old HL support tickets and they insisted they worked with Rachio on their driver, even though it never worked right.
  23. I never saw any indication it was a memory issue. Support had me clean out the Composer Roaming folder on the PC running Composer, but this was happening on more than one PC. Will wait to see if the issue returns or not. Thanks for the tip.
  24. Just want to say I've had this sensor in my bathroom for quite a few years now and it has been super solid and responsive. I need to buy more of them. You will have to purchase through a dealer, or you risk getting HA version.
  25. I got upgraded to 2.10.x, and got the driver loaded successfully. I think the issue with loading drivers is specific to my system. I've had this issue for a while. Normally a reboot works to get drivers loaded, but then it eventually breaks for adding drivers again. I couldn't get this to work with 2.9.x with your driver. Thanks.
