  1. It is needed, otherwise your irrigation can trigger false leak detection. Unless you exclude irrigation from where your monitoring is, but then you won't find out about leaks.
  2. Right, that's already been covered here, another one I found not mentioned was it doesn't seem to clear out the media playing if you stop it, but I was surprised anything from 4Store still worked at all.
  3. I got upgraded to 3.0, I did not even have to manually connect to Director on the Infinity Edge units, they re-connected automatically. There is no driver currently loaded for them in Composer, but all the wired ones show up in System Manager. Strangely, even though the one wireless unit I had does not show up, it is also connected. So I get to use some apps like Eragy, Yale, and Remote Finder a little while longer... Upgraded to a DS2 so didn't fight that battle with the original DS...
  4. Only thing I wish I could do is turn back on the water after it shuts off. This has to be done at the FloLogic panel, unless they've changed the hardware. None of the systems with only sensors are going to catch a leak in an irrigation system.
  5. Nobody responds at Audio Obsessions to e-mail, ticket automated response says I should hear back in 24 hours is a week and a half old. Forget I mentioned it. Did I mention how much I hate support portals that are ignored?
  6. Well my experience with Control4 is once an official driver appears the unofficial ones go to pot. I've done without the unofficial one this long, I'll wait.
  7. It works with 5 people at my house, I have some pretty involved programming to determine when nobody is home and I can't say it is 100% correct yet.
  8. Ok, I assume you mean the unofficial integration, since nothing is official yet right?
  9. How are you guys doing Geofencing without a different hub? Maybe I missed something but I still need IFTTT, SmartThings, and Chowmain's IFTTT Maker driver for that...the old driver never worked right and finally quit pretty much completely.
  10. It looks like there is an update available for this driver that just became available on Friday? Has anybody tried it yet? Hopefully all the issues are resolved.
  11. Were you guys not around when this was a problem before? I agree its annoying, but just ignore them.
  12. I'm guessing that maybe only if the device supports it. I have some that don't have that granular of control (it jumps 3 or 4 clicks), and doing this won't magically upgrade that lol. And 3 or 4 clicks definitely is an issue at times...
  13. Ok, because I'm really trying to get everything up-to-date or at least make sure I have support channels open before I upgrade--I have not heard anybody with this driver say what it does in OS3. Which could be a good thing, but I hardly ever see anything at all about this driver so maybe not...
  14. I used to be all in for Roku and rarely used AppleTV, but Roku is not keeping up as well. I like having both. Also use FireTV occasionally. Never used Shield. If you are invested in the Apple ecosystem and only want to have one, Apple TV is a no-brainer.
  15. Did you buy the driver and are you using it with OS 3? I haven't gotten any response to my support ticket.
  16. I think you are probably aware of this, but there are kit options for this to be a swap-in replacement, cut in stone or not. I understand it is not aesthetically the best option. I will be seeing how it goes as I bit the bullet and ordered a DS2Mini, but I had my DS for eight years, so it wasn't as quick of a replacement as it was for some. Sure would have been nice if they would have had an option that looked close to the same with different innards though. That being said, I find it a little odd there has not been confirmation of any success or failure of joining a DSv1 back to a project post OS3 update.
  17. There is a nice Blue Iris C4 driver that will do that and more, I think it was on Houselogix, so not sure if it is still being sold or supported. Here is a link: http://www.audioobsessions.com/blue-iris-nvr.html
  18. Anybody tried with the original Door Station? I wouldn't mind losing my touch screens if I went down this route, but don't want to lose by doorbell. Don't care if the intercom quits. Edit: whoops a couple others already asked. Well, bump then...
  19. So you guys load the update within days of it coming out and you don't expect this kind of stuff? A MAJOR release no less?
  20. Would be interesting to know if other VPN apps have the same issue on iOS. ProtonVPN is free. I don't have OS3 yet.
  21. Yes, I have this issue. Kind of gave up on it. Not every lock, and all are on same versions of hardware.
  22. While you are at it please consider some type of iOS Widget support...competitors have it, and it could be pretty useful. Unless this was added in 3.0, I won't be able to load it just yet.
  23. My SR-250s are still going strong after eight some years. Won't be "upgrading" I guess. Sad this is a widespread issue with no fix it seems.
  24. Not guessing you are going to be finding "not too expensive" touch screens now that so many are going to have to be replaced by so many. I never see any decent deals on Ebay for current gen touch screens, and that was before this announcement. I'm sure some will just abandon some or all of them, but mine are going on 8 years old, so I knew I would have to replace them eventually. I won't be replacing 100% of them though.
