Like I said, I was out of town... Make sure your snapshot refresh rate is set at 1 to 5 seconds in the camera properties of the c4 driver. In the camera properties (logging into the camera ip address) I have the following settings (see pictures below for all 3 stream settings. That was my thought as well, to have the mower in the back yard and just let it out into the front at night to mow. The reason for the integration is because I have gate sensors and I want to mute announcement and only have them open for the mower ( for security reasons ).<-- Also how cool does it look if the gate opens automatically to let the mower out..... A harmonious coordination of robot with my home automation system!

So I'm looking into a robotic mower but we have a fence around our back yard. I'd like to get actuators to operate the latches and gates so when the mower comes on the gate just opens and stays open until the mower is done. Is there another way to skin this cat?

I have 2 in. horizontal blinds that I want to control the tilt with...only the tilt. I'm kinda drowning in the internet (surfing joke) trying to ascertain what hardware I'll need. I'd like to control them via programming to be 50% (completely flat/open) and 0% or 100% (closed). I have a bay window with a 110 outlet below it for power.

I'd like to keep my current blinds...are the somfy motors and integrations ok or are there better options?

I'm not able to recall the part but I had to get an extra wired door button put in line due to the security 2+ that my garage doors have. Then soldered my relay from the ea-5 to each. This gives a hardwired connection to each door for control. I use the nyce garage tilt sensor for position. I had my dealer program them in so i can't help there. The chowmain ifttt driver is how my Google voice sends commands to my c4 system. Once again i made the ifttt recipes and had my dealer add the programming. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

I have mine working perfectly...I even use my google voice on my phone so I don't even need a remote in my truck or open an app on my phone. I just give it a voice command and presto the garage door opens, the door unlocks, and the light comes on. It also works in reverse when I'm going to work.

Very cool. I didn't figure they would make it so you HAD to use multiple managed switches to get larger systems set up. So in theory I could use the unmanaged switch and plug in 2 A/V receivers, 2 blue ray players, 2 roku's, my HD HomeRun box, 2 TV's, and my xbox. Then connect all my C4 gear straight to the managed switch along with my POE camera's, right? *This thing looks like you can assign MAC addresses to a VLAN. So I wouldn't have to do it by port, I could do it by MAC address and when the unifi AP's send data then the wireless device would get put in the correct VLAN. Am I going down the right road? This s*&%t is cool!

So I'm curious how pakedge zones work... If you set up a managed SX 24 port switch to utilize the zone management and POE but then add a SE dumb switch to get the extra ports, how does it know what zones go on the expanded switch? Is that where you just set the SFP+ port to all one type of zone and only put certain hardware on it? Or is there a way to use MAC addresses to work with the VLAN? I'm doing a lot of reading but lack the real world experience in this area. I think this kinda ties into recommended network practices and how we should be budgeting and planning our networks to be more robust for Control4.
