  1. Yep. The AVR itself doesn’t stay on all the time, but currently have it set that when the AVR does come on the Zone2 is also always on
  2. I don’t seem to be getting the correct graphics. This is on an iPhone 14 latest iOS.
  3. Here is screenshots of mine. Physical connections are AVR HDMI output to TV HDMI Input Zone 2 analog RCA connections to Triad Matrix Analog 1 input Thats it.
  4. Cool. I have a large Solar edge based system. I’ll give the trial a shot.
  5. Yeah I don’t have a physical connection from the TV to the Triad. Just the zone 2 analog to the triad analog. I meant in the connections in composer for the Triad analog port you have zone 2 connected to, set that connection to your TV. Once you do that you should see that TV as a source under listen for all your rooms being run by that matrix.
  6. In the AVR connections I don't have anything but the Inputs for all the sources configured and then the HDMI output to the TV and then of course the Standard Room Selection Output stuff for the room the TV is in. Nothing configured for Zone2. For my Triad Matrix I have the input set to the TV ->Output in connections. Physical connection is to the Zone2 output on the AVR In my adjacent rooms I just make TV for that central room available in Navigator and that is what I select in Listen to in other rooms. On the AVR I have the Zone2 on every time the AVR turns on. You can verify this by looking for the Zone2 indicator on the screen. If I remember right you just need to turn it on from the AVR face buttons or button on the AVR remote, and it will just stay on through power cycles. I don't think you need to make your sources Stereo in this configuration as if memory serves me correctly Zone2 will only output Stereo. I could be misremembering on that part though Stereo part though. So Id try it with it being set to stereo first and once all working try it without stereo being set.
  7. if using Plex, this is an option there in the plex configuration to do this with no extra button presses.
  8. 100% possible. I have this same AVR and am using Zone 2 to replicate audio through my triad matrix to two adjacent rooms that have visibiliy to the TV that I look to replicate what Im watching to. For example one of the adjacent rooms is my kitchen, so if Im eating in there and watching TV I replicate the sound to the kitchen. Is that what you are basically trying to do?
  9. You should be able to go into connections and make the single TV the video endpoint for each room. Then you are just setting the specific audio point for each room to be the Sonos for that room. I don’t have Sonos but I do this with my pool pavilion where sometimes I want the audio of the TV in it to play on the TV speakers and sometimes I want it over the pavilion speakers, but sometimes I want to play music over the pavilion speakers while the TV speakers is playing what’s on the TV. So I have two rooms. Pavilion and pavilion TV. I can’t control the one Tv from both rooms See pics below for two different rooms with the same video end point.
  10. @IntrinsicGroup is this resolved? Noticed the disclaimer is gone from your website.
  11. Here is how I did the programming. Mix of variables, a timer and then button press event on the remote.
  12. Here is a pic of one. If you don’t have a deep wall plate you can also slide the remote off the wall mount.
  13. Yeah. I have a single hub that’s covers my 7100 sqft house. It is centrally located though.
  14. I do your exact scenario in my home. I use a combination of Room Driver and then programming. For me I activate it with pico remotes. One button press turns on pandora for the room. Two button presses and if the tv is on in the family room the kitchen speakers play whatever is on in the family room, 3 button presses turns on all the first floor audio to the source in the room I’m in, 4 button presses opens my drive way gate. Other buttons on the pico audio remotes does what their labels are. Play/pause, volume up/volume down, skip forward. Works great. Instead of using a pico I’m sure you could use like an experience button or a c4 keypad or whatever.
  15. There is another thread on this one. Think we are all waiting to find out what exactly the issue was. There is someone posting in the other thread from the company and mentioned their legal is talking to C4. With that said in the other thread someone modified the driver so it will allow you to install it, and as you can see on the companies website you can still buy a license from them, but it’s definitely at your own risk. While the above works there is no guarantee C4 won’t attempt to do more than they have already tried to prevent its usage.
  16. Should be. I have kwikset locks but for zigbee you have to have the Control4 version of the locks. Zigbee ones from like Homedepot won’t work unless you swap the zigbee module with a control4 one
  17. Have definitely noticed a degradation of my WiFi connection from the remote since the update. Had zero WiFi issues before, but now my remotes all think they have a low signal strength. Nothing has changed on my home network, and other WiFi devices still detect strong signals. Again zero WiFi type issues pre update.
  18. Pau is great. Can definitely vouch for him.
  19. I decided to roll the dice as well. So far no issues. Hopefully things get worked out more officially with C4.

    SOLD: EA1v2

I have an EA1v2 I no longer need if anyone is interested. I don’t have the original box but it’s in good condition. I’d like to get $100 plus shipping for it.
  21. No issues with mine. I have like 6 of them and am running the latest firmware. Prior to the update I would have random issues where the remote would act like it was taking commands but nothing would happen on the tv and I would have to reboot the remote to get it working. So far with the latest update I haven’t experienced that again either.
