  1. @Cyknight @RyanE my gosh, did I sound like a know-it-all. But learnt something today, so thank you! Checked connections and the IP address and MAC address are correct for the TV’s Ethernet port.
  2. Hey @RyanE! Thanks for the idea about the way the TV's are addressed. I checked composer and the TV's are addressed via their ethernet MAC addresses, the Samsung drivers dont seem to use IP addresses.
  3. @Cyknight and @C4 User thanks for the input! Great thoughts on the keypad triple tap, going to set that up right now. And what do ya'll do in OS3, NEEO remotes, software buttons, etc?
  4. Hey ya'll, I got my integrator to wire up a Lutron switch to the electric starter for our outdoor fire pit. Makes it really simple for basic on/off control via keypads, apps, etc. Question though, has any integrator developed any best safety practices around fire pit integration? We have a kiddo that is just tall enough to now reach the wall mounted keypads and I'm concerned about accidentally triggering the firepit, especially while the cover is on. Was thinking about adding a manual switch near the firepit which has to be turned on before the smart switches work. Anyone with any tips or tricks?
  5. Still experiencing the slow wake times. Anyone else with their 2021 Samsung TV's, or still just @tmj4 and I? Anyone with any other tips/tricks to try out?
  6. As of iOS 321.50.0 I’m no longer experiencing these crashes! Woohoo! Thanks for the fix ya’ll and keep up the good work.
  7. Oh interesting. So you’re experiencing power on delays as well using IP control on a 2021 Samsung TV? That custom driver you wrote @tmj4, is it possible to only use that for powering on the TV and then switch over to the standard Samsung IP driver for control? If so, would you be willing to share? Can anyone confirm NOT having a power on delay on a 21 Samsung Frame?
  8. YES! @DunamivoraI love it! This is perfect. Thank you.
  9. Oh reboot’s interesting. Can’t believe I’m about to say this, but I wonder if I could programs these playlists on UI buttons, trigger a power cycle and then start the playlist. Feels so heavy handed, but asking our family to open up another app and navigate the UI to hit a single button is almost a bigger ask. Lol.
  10. Well not sure how you tell if their documented API is local or cloud. But the information is there, and I can only hope that it could be added to the driver. https://developer.sonos.com/reference/types/queueaction/ Does anyone have any workarounds in the meantime? I’ve looked into IFTTT, some iOS apps, etc. but having a hard time solving this problem.
  11. And actually, Savant’s Sonos integrations use the UPNP API and also supports clearing the queue. So maybe there is hope.
  12. Interesting. Does the Sonos driver use the undocumented UPNP API then? If that’s the case, then maybe there is still hope. The node.js Sonos HTTP API, which is based on the UPNP API, has a clear queue action. The local UPNP API must support that then? https://github.com/jishi/node-sonos-http-api
  13. Oh interesting. What API does the C4 driver use? And what’s the reasoning/logic behind that choice?
  14. Can we nag the C4 devs that worked on the Sonos driver (making an assumption that is was developed in-house) to add the ability to select a queueAction when adding new tracks/playlists/favourites to a Sonos queue? https://developer.sonos.com/reference/types/queueaction/ Our household requires the queue to be cleared almost every time we select a playlist as we don’t want old playlists in the currently playing shuffle. But some people may want the option to choose. On a side note, does anyone want to help write a script that could do this in the meantime, that would be greatly apprecaited! It’s a little beyond my current skill set
  15. Yea possibly. I just remotely turned off IGMP snooping which seems to try to route multicast traffic automatically. I’ll have to wait until we return to our cabin to test it out. But thanks for the thought on that!
  16. Thanks for the quick reply @msgreenf. TV’s both have a static IP assigned in Unifi and on the TV’s network settings.
  17. Have two ‘21 Samsung Frame’s that take 15-30 seconds to power on for any activity. Which causes family members to think the remote is broken. The TV’s were added via SDDP. Wondering if anyone else is seeing a slight delay, or if this is unique to our install.
  18. Was really hoping to hear from Darin on this one. Fingers still crossed he responds after returning back to work after the holidays. Happy New Year!
  19. Just thought I’d drop my 2 cents on this old thread as I keep reading post after post about making these Frame TV’s work in bedrooms using some kind of schedule based programming. In our two homes we have Frame TV’s in our primary bedroom and we love them. No complicated schedule based programming is needed to make the TV turn off at night. We use the Frame TV’s built-in motion and ambient light detection features. When we’re awake and the lights are on in the room, e.g. reading a book at night, the TV displays its Art mode and it looks beautiful. When we turn the lights off, and we’re tucked into bed not moving around the room, then the TV turns off automatically. No programming needed. You can adjust the ambient light and motion sensors using the Art Mode settings, and we’ve never accidentally triggered the sensors getting up to use the washroom at night. We set the motion sensor to low to prevent accidental triggers. And we’ve never had it not turn off once the lights are off. It usually takes just 2-3 minutes for the sensor to switch the TV off. So this works great for us. Benefit of not doing this programatically? It works under every condition. Taking a nap during the day? TV will power off when you turn the lights off and lay on your bed. Throwing a party till the wee hours of the night and want your art displayed? Great, it’ll keep showing until the party’s dead and everyone is passed out with the lights off. Anyways, might not work for everyone, but maybe someone will find these features handy. We sure do. Cheers ya’ll!
  20. I’m also experiencing this issue. iOS app crashes after viewing the camera feeds. All our cameras, regardless of settings, and any iOS device, iPhones and iPads. Using Unifi cameras, last version of camera firmware, unifi network app, c4 iOS app, and iOS. Been happening for a few months now. Incredibly frustrating. C4 says it’s a driver problem. @Cinegration says it’s a C4 problem. Now that I see others are having the issue with different cameras, I’m leaning towards this being a C4 app issue. please encourage your integrators to keep pushing with C4 to troubleshoot the issue.
  21. Also, iOS 321.46 is out and everything feels wicked QUICK. Some nice updates today.
  22. iOS 321.46 is out and at first test everything seems WAY faster. Projects load WAY faster. Under a second now, compared to 3-4 seconds on previous versions. This alone is a huge experience upgrade. Also, switching between rooms, loading component details and controls, all feel much faster. Props to the mobile app teams for this huge experience update. These things often go overlooked, pushed to the bottom of issue ticket lists, but as the UX debt builds, and performance degrades, it slowly erodes trust with the user. Each little bit counts! So thank you!
  23. Last time I tested the IR driver, a few commands were missing including a long press of the enter command (used for accessing context menus) and the TV button (which is used to access tvOS control panel for switching users, accessing airplay settings, and more). Furthermore, I seem to remember reading that the TV button was IP only and never had an IR code. These missing features made IR control impossible for us as those features get used very frequently. Is this still the case?
  24. Following this thread, I have this exact issue with my Lutron RadioRa2 shades.
