no where near the buying or service experience

THAT has nothing to do with the car itself though. Anyway, this is getting waaay of topic.

I own several of the European cars, a ford and a jeep

And I've owned all of those myself, and while different, I wouldn't class them 'higher' or 'lower' But I'll stop there 🧐

Where is this for sale at?

Nevermind, looks like they are sold out. So, the consensus that I'm gathering here is that Ruckus is the best in anyone's mind. Do you think the best solution would be to get Ruckus 610 or 710 models and have them flashed to the unleashed software?

That's what I do.  It takes 10 minutes, no issues.  Configuration after that is straightforward.

And also should be set and forget.  You’ll never have to touch the WiFi system again, unless upgrading firmware or adding/changing to it.

710 is preferred over the 610 I'm guessing. Would love to get the r750s, but way too expensive

The 710 gives you multi-user mimo up and down. Unlikely you will see much benefit from that if any. The 610 gives you 3x3:3 antenna arrangement which is about best case for a nice laptop so it's an excellent choice. There is also a nice phone app that goes with Unleashed...easy to check and see if something or someone is on or AP status etc..highly recommended.

Yes,  price diff is not that great used so personally I would go with the 710 but as others have said,  not critical to do for your application.  In my home I have 2 R650, 1 R720, and 1 R610.

In other words, 610 should do you just fine.

But the 710 "would" be better than the 610, right? Its confusing in some sense. I was strongly considering the Unifi HD too and this is 4x4. I feel if I went with the 610 which is 3x3, wouldnt that be a lesser model? I do like the looks a bot more of the Unifi HD, but all on here seem to agree that the best is Ruckus?

You’re doing a multi-AP project.  3x3 is plenty suitable for residential and even most commercial projects.

if you don’t like the looks of the AP: https://oberoninc.com/products/1018-00/

Yes, but how many different networks pop up when you search for Wifi signals? Your R650s are WIFI 6, so how does that separate itself from the rest?

Only the ones you configure to have.  You don’t need to separate the SSID’s for ruckus for different bands.

No,  if the device is Wifi6 on the receiving end, then it will connect at Wifi6.  Only a few will, like modern Iphones or Ipads...    I have 2 SSID's setup,  one 2G and one 5G.    You can do one if you prefer that but I like to easily see the 2 different bands.

No. This is what the Ruckus Unleashed controller software manages.... It will connect the device to the closest, strongest, best AP...  If im close to an R610 and that signal is better than a farther away R650, then the device will connect to the R610 on an AC band as it is better than a farther away wifi6 AP.

If the best access point from a technological standpoint comes with a price tag that influences your deployment, it's no longer the best access point. If your budget can accommodate 610s you'll have a hell of a system. Not sure going to the 7 series in a residential application would be meaningful. It's not a perfect analogy, but your car's top speed being 210 or 260 probably doesn't matter to your commute. A lot of these APs we're discussing have use cases for SMB applications and conditions we'd never be able to recreate in a private home.

Does anyone have instructions on how to flash these to the best version of the Unleashed software? I heard some of the versions had trouble with speeds.

Just buy one on Ebay already flashed to Unleashed... There should be plenty of the R610s,  the R710s be a little less numerous.

People buy Ferrari's who live in Central London where the average speed is less than 20 mph :).   Just saying not many folks have the discipline to follow this approach myself included :)
