What does this driver do?

This Control4 Apple TV Driver allows a Control4 system to communicate with an Apple TV 4th, 5th (4K) or 6th (4K) generation running tvOS16 to communicate via ethernet.

Do you guys have a manual/doc. handy that elaborates on this? I'm competent enough (through massive trial and error, ha) to use public APIs, so I'm interested in the details/what's possible. Thanks!

My understanding is the quick launch codes needed for popular apps are available in the programming interface in Composer... I've asked our developer if they can add some info to the manual

any update here or general instructions on the direct app launching?

Direct app launching currently uses custom buttons and not miniApps at this time.

MiniApp development has to go through Control4's dev team and be signed off by them, I'll check with our developer where we are up to with that.

iOS 17 was just announced, so you may need to push that out a bit more.

We're testing iOS 17 at the minute. As always, we don't support beta firmware and even if everything is compatible with the beta as it stands it doesn't always mean it will work when the firmware is actually released. But we're testing currently and will keep doing so with subsequent Apple beta releases. I don't have any info from our dev team as yet regarding the testing as the beta was only released on the 9th June but I should get an update from them soon.
