Yeah.  Sorry about that.  It was a weird way that the developer enabled the new feature that had everyone start from 0. Does it look right now for you?

I had the site recalculate the rankings with the new feature.  Should be good to go now  

Hopefully this is resolved. There was an issue with the theme that should now be resolved. The logo needs to change too

Does anyone know how to get the intercom anywhere app or functionality working on an iPad?  It is not available in the App Store even when searching for iPhone only apps. It doesn’t need to work outside of the house but it does need the same functionality of being able to communicate and see the person at the door as well as unlock.

As a fail-back, would an iPod touch work?

We do have questions like those enabled. They end up figuring out the answers and just create tons of accounts. That is what happened yesterday. One of the changes I made was to the validation questions. I do like your summer / winter question, I will add that one to the rotation.

Separately, I enabled an additional third party service CleanTalk to the validation workflow. It will continue to process checks for at least X messages after a member sign up and enables automatic blocking of languages and regions. 

Unfortunately, over the 15 years of this forum spam bots have been a constant game of whack-a-mole.

Sorry for the incredibly frustrating spam attacks lately. I have added the CleanTalk plugin / spam prevention which should solve the problem moving forward.

I will monitor it closely to make sure it's working properly.

Sorry everyone   I made some changes to hopefully stop the spam (for now)  

It has been on the top of my list for a while now to setup a proper moderator council. I expect this to be completed by September 1st and likely sooner.

Hi Everyone

You probably noticed some ads now embedded in the site. I am testing this to cover the site expenses, there is quite a bit of tweaking to be done to optimize them. 

Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

This sounds like a great plan. The only product manufacturer that has me a bit concerned is Tripp lite.  We went through a period years ago where we deployed their batteries and mostly pdu's to about 20 projects.  Every single project we lost access to the pdu remotely and had to go through painful firmware replacements and unit swaps.  This was very painful of course losing access to a pdu which entire purpose is remote access of power management, but what is worse is after at least 30 bad units Tripp Lite still doesn't know what is wrong. 

We cleaned our warehouse last month and did a full inventory.  We found a few Tripp lite pieces brand new that a few people at the office wanted to go office space on. We opted to put it in the eBay pile.  

Hope this helps with a very small but critical component of your system.

What method does this use to reboot the primary controller?  Is this restarting director only or the whole device?
