  3. Haikus have an optional module to make it wifi compatible called SenseMe. Basically if the fan works with the Big Ass Fans app it will work with our Big Ass Fans driver. I think you can retrofit the wifi module in but may be wrong.
  4. From memory you may not have to. Having said that i'm not the best person to ask as i did not develop that driver. The best way to get support from us is by contacting us directly. We provide 11 hours of support per day (mon-fri Australian eastern time). See methods of contact below. https://chowmain.software/for-integrators/technical-support
  5. Overview Chowmain releases Polyaire Airtouch 5 driver for Control4. The Polyaire AirTouch 5 is the 5th Generation of their flagship air conditioning controller that is as smart as it looks. AirTouch 5 features a new interface designed to make managing up to 16 VRF (variable refrigerant flow) units in commercial or residential buildings easy, attractive and enjoyable. AirTouch helps deliver comfort by sending cooled or heated air where you want it, and shut off unused areas enabling your system to reach the set point temperature where it is needed faster, and more economically. It allows you to adjust the airflow going into each room in small increments or even change the temperature throughout the house or in specific areas. Integration to Control4 allows you to integrate the systems and zones managed by the Airtouch5 for seamless operation. Driver Features Two way IP Control Control of up to all 8 AC units Temperature feedback, HVAC mode, Setpoint and Fan contro Control of up to 16 zones Control of zone air flow Control of zone powe Control of zone setpoints (if available) FAQ My Airtouch5 system has multiple AC's connected to it. Does your driver support multi air conditioner units Yes our driver will support the same number of ACs that the Airtouch supports. You need to add a driver for each AC you want to control. All available zones are available in the Extras section of each driver. If you have two AC units with 3 zones on the first AC and 4 on the second AC, you can see all 7 in both drivers. What models will this work for? This driver has been tested with Airtouch5 Console model 1.1.1 however, it should work with console version 1.0.3 and above How do I find the IP address of the Airtouch5? To see the IP address of the console, go to Settings > Options click the button with your access point name in it > click SEE MORE > Select Wi-Fi > click the connected Wi-Fi name > Advanced section and scroll down to the bottom of the page Where are all the zones in your driver? We expose the zones through the extras tab in the C4 UI Can I program the zones from the Programming section? Yes you can. As this section cannot be dynamically built, you need to make sure that you've selected a valid ZONE and VALUE for the control type. If the zone is controlled by temperature, you have to select a valid temperature value. I want to try this driver out before buying it? All Chowmain drivers for Control4 come with a 90 day trial. How do I find out more information about the driver? Please see the links below for more information about the driver. Driver Link
  6. If you want to purchase an old controller then you can just factory restore the device. After that you can re-register it. Note that the product you want to buy is end of life. Meaning no support is given. You may also find it hard to get a programmer to program the system due to its age. Regardless that should answer your question.
  7. For additional reference Control4 told us that the rule of thumb is that if only one instance is to be installed then it should be an agent. Otherwise it should be a driver. That is the only difference. Stops multiple copies being installed to ensure that multiple instance mistakes don't happen.
  8. You can set it to a screen icon by changing the Blind Type in the driver's properties. Note that it will still be in the same section in your navigator user interfaces. Just different icon.
  9. It could be anything in your system and the best person to diagnose is a Control4 support engineer. They will pinpoint the issue for you rather than guessing as there are diagnostic tools they use in-house to pinpoint performance issues. We work closely with them and usually if they find something they notify us As such the drivers we write are usually pretty solid. We go the extra mile by adding our own diagnostics in along with other features to ensure the quality of the drivers we create are of the highest quality.
  10. Overview Chowmain release Battery Indicator driver for Control4. The Chowmain Battery Indicator driver for Control4 will provide you with a battery level indicator for any device that outputs its battery level in a variable as a percentage. This indicator is expressed as an experience button and can be viewed in any Control4 navigator. On top of viewing the level in navigator the driver supports low level events along with automated push and email notifications. Driver Features Supports any device which has a variable for percentage based battery level. Shown in navigator as an experience button Can select from different battery level indicators graphics. Has events for low battery levels Provides automated push and email notifications Has the ability to ignore 0% based levels (some devices show 0% battery when asleep or on reboot). FAQ How does this driver work? The nice thing about this driver is that it will work with all products with a battery level percentage variable. This driver is extremely simple. Just select the device in the driver properties and select the variable for that device. Add the experience button to any page you want in Navigator (we recommend services). What devices will this work on? This driver will work with any device that outputs its battery level as a percentage Devices include (but not limited to) Bond Sidekick Scene Keypad Control4 Halo Control4 Neeo Control4 SR-150 Control4 SR-250 Control4 SR-260 Control4 ZigBee Contact Sensor Kwikset Z-Wave Lock Qmotion Roller Shades Shelly devices Sunsa Wand Switchbot Tado Tedee Lock Wiser Z-Wave Lock Are there any other considerations? Certain devices (eg SR-260) report 0% when they are restarting or offline. As such we have included a property to ignore 0% battery levels. Can i change the icons? These icons were designed and owned by Chowmain Ltd. We have included multiple icon sets that you can adjust through the driver's properties for both light and dark backgrounds. Do you offer showroom discounts? We offer dealers a free showroom licence for demonstration and educational purposes. See link below for T&C's and signup procedure. 11. Just realised i misread that. Control4 (SnapOne) have multiple service desks around the world. If one service desk closes for the day a technical support agent from another service desk can continue on with the ticket. Major Service Desks include United States, United Kingdom and Australia.
  12. If you have trouble contacting your dealer Control4 does have a customer satisfaction team dedicated to providing prompt resolutions and assistance. https://www.control4.com/company/contact-us/
  13. Control4 support has the ability to narrow down potential issues. They'll provide a report which will detail what potential problems there are.
  14. This statement is correct and what we had to do to modify our licenced lighting drivers that support color temp for daylight agent support. We worked closely with Control4 to ensure our drivers co-incided with their agent launch.
  15. Daylight Agent adds circadian lighting to Control4 SnapOne just released the Daylight Agent for Control4. This new agent warms and cools white LED temperatures to the rising and setting of the sun for improved circadian health. By mimicing the color temperatures of natural daylight (waking hours high in blue spectrum/bright and sunsets fall in blue spectrum/warmer/dimmer) artificial lighting helps the body prepare for the day, be most alert when it needs to and prepares the body for rest when its time for sleep. Chowmain is proud to announce that we have updated our drivers to support the new Daylight Agent. The following drivers now support the new agent Govee Light Group LIFX Shelly Switchbot TP-Link Kasa WiZ Yeelight Haven't used our drivers before? To ensure customer satisfaction all of our drivers come with a 90 day trial. We also offer 50% discounts on licencing for the homes of integrators employees and FREE showroom licencing for integrators who have showrooms.
  16. We have done several doorstation integrations for leading manufacturers such as hikvision, dahua, fermax and more. Please visit the link below to apply for a quotation https://chowmain.software/for-manufacturers/request-quote
  17. If you haven't bought a fan then "Smart By Bond" compatible fans has everything you need built into the fan. No need for a Bond Bridge. https://bondhome.io/products/smart-by-bond/ Also Andrew's suggestion of Big Ass Fans is a fantastic suggestion. It is a higher quality fan (probably the higest) but comes at a higher price tag.
  18. Overview Chowmain Light Group allows lights by any manufacturer (including OS3.3 ColorWheel lighting) to be grouped together and operated simultaneously from a single light driver, instead of requiring ALS scenes. This is beneficial as an example for systems where multiple lightstrips are used for a certain area and need to be the same color at all times, or for easier room lighting control. This driver does not rely on driver Load Group support and supports both Pre-OS3.3 lightv2 lighting, and OS3.3 lightv2 lighting with ColorWheel. The original (and mostly unused) light (v1) proxies are NOT supported OS 3.3.2 or later is required to use this driver Driver Features Enables the grouping of lights into a single light Advanced Lighting Scene Support Brand Agnostic. Group together Shelly with Hue, LIFX, Yeelight, or even Control4 lights. Ability to change modes between Color Temp and Hue Turn on light automatically during color changes CCT Capabilities Auto-Detection (Manual selection is also supported) CCT Tracking via Percentage scaling, or the closest Kelvin Level Track Brightness via Average brightness Use the brightess light Use the dimmest Light Use a selected light Or ignore Brightness from connected Lights Track Color/CCT Via Average Color Use a selected light Or ignore Color from connected Lights Button Links suitable for Control4 Compatible Keypads to control Brightness, CCT, and Color FAQ What are the Minimum Requirements for this driver? Control4 OS 3.3.2 or later is required to operate this driver. HC Series controllers are not supported What hardware will this work on? This driver is designed to be generic and work with any OS 3.3.0 light driver. This has been tested with many lighting drivers including TP-Link, LIFX, Shelly and Phillips Hue. Are there any other considerations? This driver works best for grouping lights of the same brand together. Some light brands may have different behaviors or require additional configuration which may lead to slightly different behaviors between them I want to try this driver out before buying it? All Chowmain drivers for Control4 come with a 90 day trial. How do I find out more information about the driver? Please see the links below for more information about the driver. Driver Link

  20. Overview Chowmain releases tado driver for Control4 providing bi-directional control and feedback over tado's range of smart thermostats, hvac controllers and radiator valves. tado is a developer of energy conservation technology designed to offer heating control systems for private homes and small businesses. The company's technology offers a mobile application that automatically detects a user's proximity to their residence and adjusts the temperature of the air conditioner accordingly, enabling users to optimize energy consumption at home without sacrificing comfort. tado° works with all common heating systems as well as with most thermostatic radiator valves. Integration to Control4 allows dealers to integrate boilers, underfloor heating, radiators and IR based airconditioning / heating systems with bi-directional control and feedback. Driver Features Two way control and feedback over room temperature, humidity, setpoints, hvac modes, fan speeds, and swing control using the Control4 thermostat UI. Hot water control if zone is setup in Tado. Automatic setup of zone capabilities. Automatic import of zones found in Tado home. Automatic renaming of zones in Control4. Periodic polling of zone statuses to keep the Control4 UI in sync. This gives the client the ability to use both the Control4 and Tado app. Tado Zones Supported Air Conditioning Off, Auto, Heat, Cool, Dry, Fan modes (If AC Unit supports it) Setpoint selection Fan speed selections Swing control selections Presets and scheduling Heating Off, Heat modes Setpoint selection Presets and scheduling Hot Water Auto adds and binds Control4 generic radiator driver On/Off control FAQ What products are supported? Smart AC Control V3+ Smart Radiator Thermostat V3+ (TRV) Wired or wireless thermostat V3+ Add-on Wireless receiver Why is this product so exciting? In Australia and New Zealand (and other countries) HVAC integration has been hard because HVAC companies do not utilise the honeywell based wiring that most smart thermostats like Nest, Control4 and Honeywell use. Split Systems have been extremely hard as traditionally they only offer IR based remote controls. In the past we have integrated these systems by learning every combination of IR code however this is extremely time consuming. With Tado, installers can now easily integrate HVAC systems into Control4. On top of that, it is easily retrofittable into homes so dealers can now revisit old customers with compatible HVAC systems to upgrade their home automation system and integrate their HVAC systems without additional wiring. Where do I buy Tado from? The Tado Smart AC Control V3+ is available from various retailers off the shelf (Harvey Norman, JB Hifi, Pb Tech etc). The other Tado products can be purchased online from Amazon or directly from the Tado website. What climate control systems will Tado work with? Supported Manufacturers include (but not limited to) Vaillant Worcester Intergas Junkers Remeha Baxi Ideal Viessmann Nefit Saunier Duval and more To check compatibility, see their website. https://www.tado.com/all-en/compatibility How do I know if my AC is compatible with the Smart AC Control? If your AC has an infrared remote and the remote displays the current settings, tado is most likely compatible. Do I need an Internet Bridge for Control4 Integration? If your install consists of only the Tado Smart AC Control V3+ units, you won't need an internet bridge as they connect to the home wifi network. Any other Tado products will require the Tado Internet bridge. Can I do scheduling in the Control4 app? Yes, our driver has built in presets and scheduling. Are there any other important things to know about this product? Tado integration requires an active and stable internet connection as control and feedback is achieved via the cloud. Unfortunately, there is no local API for the product. I want to try this driver out before buying it? All Chowmain drivers for Control4 come with a 90 day trial. How do I find out more information about the driver? Please see the links below for more information about the driver. Driver Link
  21. Lightwave RF woudl be perfect for this. https://chowmain.software/drivers/control4-lightwave-link-plus
  22. When this happens please submit a ticket to our helpdesk and provide us with logs so we can troubleshoot.
  23. We haven't tested against the Halo. Having said that we haven't had any issues raised either.
  24. The driver only works with the zappiti CDN artwork. It does not work with local artwork. If you have your own custom artwork for a movie it won't work. Others who have done their own custom artwork have resolved the issue by removing the movie and reading it to their library.
