Chowmain releases FREE manufacturer sponsored Dahua doorstation driver for Control4 providing bi-directional video and audio communications between select Dahua doorstations and Control4's T3 touchscreens, T4 touchscreens, iOS / Android mobile apps (requires 4sight).
On top communications the driver allows the user to trigger door releases from the touchscreen and allows the integrator to program against real time smart events such as motion detection, doorbell button press and the door status.

How do I apply the firmware?
Download the firmware with the driver and use Dahua's IP Configtool's Device Upgrade feature to apply the firmware.
Why does the door station reboot itself when I change the Group to Call property field?
We do this to make sure that the door station has applied all the changes the driver makes
Is there anything else we need to consider?
NOTE The driver only supports one call button
If you make any changes to the driver or the Communication Agent make sure you do the following, in this order:
Refresh the SIP server: Communication Agent > Advanced tab > Refresh Gateway button Refresh the Navigators File > Refresh Navigators On the user interface that you are testing with, open the Intercom and wait for the list of devices to appear. The Intercom will only list the available devices once the Control4 SIP server is ready to handle calls. Which projectors are supported?
We created this driver as alot of integrators mistook PJLINK for PJTALK compatibility. Most Sony projectors don't work with PJLINK so we created this driver to help integrators provide the perfect Sony projector integration. This driver works with all IP controlled Sony projectors that support PJTALK protocol.

Luckily for us Control4 gave all the major developers plenty of time to rewrite all of their drivers which we took advantage of to make sure that all of our licenced drivers were upgraded to support this new OS 3.3 lighting proxy.

Today Control4 announced the release of OS 3.3.  Chowmain Software & Apps has been working diligently with Control4 to upgrade or rewrite many of our lighting drivers to provide support for some exciting new features which add full color wheel options to the Control4 interface along with color temperature and many product specific features.

The issue you experienced was due to the fact that a build pointing to Orro's development endpoints was released unintentionally when Chowmain released its new website. This has been resolved and the current Orro driver listed on the Chowmain website should function as expected.
