  1. it appears Carrier (Bryant (same company)) has released an "Evolution open API", not sure to what extent it allows control but maybe one of the driver developers here may want to invest some time in investigating as to if it is advanced enough to allow full control through IP by Control4. It clearly states " remote control of Evolution Systems by home automation systems without the use of a SAM module" http://dms.hvacpartners.com/docs/1010/Public/07/bry_alx_ecomm.pdf here is the relevant portion: The interface to the Amazon Alexa system was built using the Evolution Open API, introduced last year. The Bryant Evolution Open API (Application Programming Interface) is the set of rules, protocols and tools that creates the bridge to allow cloud-to-cloud interface of home automation systems to internet-connected Evolution systems with Evolution Connex wall controls. This allows users to access their home comfort system from a variety of connected home mobile apps. The Evolution Open API allows third-party, smart home integrators to connect to the Evolution Connex online database to allow interface and remote control of Evolution Systems by home automation systems without the use of a SAM module. Feel free to point third-party integrators to EvolutionOpenAPI@bryant.com to request more information. Download the Getting Started Guide, available on www.HVACpartners.com for more information on how to access the Evolution Open API. Now’s the time for your home automation partners to begin working on interfaces using the Evolution Open API to have these features available within their systems moving forward.
  2. you do need a SAM (unfortunately)and it requires a serial connection to control4. utilizing the new v2 driver available on 2.6.0 and up you can also access all features including 7 day scheduling, humidity, and vacation mode toggle/duration. these features are only visible on navigator with myhome apps (android and IOS)along with control4 touchscreens (infinity edge or above) and not viewable (for some reason) on your controllers TV OSD. https://drivers.control4.com/solr/drivers/browse?&q=&fq=manufacturer:"Carrier"
  3. might be worth trying the x1000 IP driver? (x800 does not have serial) http://drivers.control4.com/solr/drivers/browse?q=UBPX
  4. i have seen it mentioned in another thread but why not setup donations? anyone who has used any information from this site for their benefit at least once should be more than willing IMO to pony up $10? if any active user with over 5 posts did that i would think you would be set for covering your expenses for quite some time?

  6. cool. thanks for the confirmation. I didn't really want or need it for pictures so that works for me
  7. ah, i see, so just to clarify it is not tied to the pushover portion correct? reason i ask is i was just about to purchase the driver package 50% for the smtp portion and 50% for the pushover portion. just wanted to be sure that the pushover is still fully functioning? thanks.
  8. I thought the devianstart service was for the image hosting portion of the chunk.io portion only and not the pushover service? Maybe Alan can clarify?
  9. sounds like you need Chowmain's Notification Suite https://www.houselogix.com/shop/notification-suite
  10. free in the online driver database http://drivers.control4.com/solr/drivers/browse?&q=&fq=manufacturer:"Somfy"

  14. Thank you very much for this Alan, picked up a w1070 last week and this driver works like a charm. my only mistake and it was totally my fault was i changed the default baud rate on the projector when i was doing initial projector setup prior to my control4 integration thinking 9600 was more common for drivers and of course the driver could not communicate so i put it back to 11520 and it immediately started working. Thanks again.

  20. possibly a stupid question but how do you tell what version the bridge is please? I don't see a sticker or anything on the label indicating a version number? nor do I see sellers specifying on eBay. I will try it with the one I have this weekend (bought earlier this year) but I was just curios and thought I would ask in case I was missing something obvious. thank you.
  21. I have just had the pleasure of dealing with Andrzej on a driver purchase and I just wanted to let everyone know it was a excellent and smooth transaction. He is very professional and knowledgeable and great to do business with, I look forward to my future dealings with him. Thank you
