No reason to replace light switches. C4 switches work fine without a controller. Many of my switches are from 2007 and are still fine,

True (I think) for the latest versions of the driver.  The new strong password will then be found in the driver Properties page In Composer.

Network Reset Instructions 1 - Unplug power
    2 - Hold down Link\ID\Identify button
3 - Continue to hold down the button and plug in the power
4 - Hold link\ID button until Data and Link lights come on solid together (they will only be in this state for a couple of seconds). Let go before those lights turn off.
Note: In OS 2.10.1 and lower, the Caution LED appears solid blue during the network reset check. After updating to OS 2.10.2 and higher, the Caution LED appears orange during the network reset check.
Note: Performing a Network Reset on the controller running Director will also reset the password on the controller

If you pay attention, do the labs with a serious effort, you should be able to pass the exam 'automagically'

I also have a new busy light I built for my office with a RPI zero w.  It has an API that is working and I am writing a driver for it!

Dcovach was awesome in helping me with this!
Sonance has the best tech support I’ve ever experienced, call them at 800-582-0772.  They pick up right away and both people I talked to were very knowledgeable about Control 4.  They will spend hours with you if needed, walking you through everything.
They even had me tweak how all my speakers were set up, and they sound way better.
    Thanks
    Dave

Thanks for posting this.  I just had the same issue and my dealer and I were chasing our tails trying to solve this problem.  I changed my DNS away from PiHole and it finally solved the problem.  Your suggest on what address to whitelist allowed me to turn it back on.
By the way, I would highly recommend PiHole to anyone and everyone.  I run it in a Docker on my unRAID server.  https://pi-hole.net/
We might have to be aware that if C4 changes the site that they hit from sdk.split.io it might cause us to have to change the whitelist entry.

I believe I have solved the issue.  In the event anyone else runs into this, I leverage a pihole on my home network (DNS sinkhole) and after digging into this issue further I noticed that requests for sdk.split.io were being blocked.  Once I whitelisted this site I was able to get the Voice Scenes page to load without issue.  Thanks to all who made suggestions on potential fixes.

All,  I've posted on my remote integration services thread.  I've switched to the engineering field, and while I couldn't be happier, I simply do not have enough time to provide quality programming services at this point.  It's been a pleasure getting to know all of you, this industry truly changed my life.  I'll still be around, but not nearly to the degree that I have been.  I wish everyone well, and I appreciate the business relationships and trust that have been built through this platform.  A huge thank you to the guys that were at Cytexone, especially Dan.
Please support the other great remote integrators on this forum, their reputations speak for themselves.
You guys take it easy, and I'll see ya'll around.

Thanks again for the decade of support, this field will always be special to me.

    Forum members,

I will be, at least for the time being, not taking on any further remote programming work.  I have switched career fields, and have been working in engineering for the past few months.  There simply are not enough hours in the day to adequately service the requests I receive.

With that, I would like to say that it has been an immense pleasure working with all of you, and getting to know you.  I started this thread back in 2011, and have nothing but positive things to say about the C4forums.com community.  Some of you have become real friends, and I am grateful for that.  I'll still be around, just on a much more limited basis.  There are several great integrators on this site: Matt Lowe, Mitch at Greenfield, AK1, Ari at Epic-Systems, etc.  I'm sure you guys will be in good hands with them.

I wish you all the best,  this forum got me started on a journey I could have never expected.  I greatly appreciate the support and patronage over the years.  A special thanks to Dan Levine and the guys at former Cytexone for providing this platform.  None of this would've been possible without them.

May your Zigbee be strong, and your networks robust always.

    Peace,
    Neil12011

    Uhm.

    First and foremost:

    -Stop using zwave locks

    Second and almost as expensice

    -Stop using zwave locks

    Note:

-Zwave locks are garbage, stop using them

    Advice? Get C4 locks

    And stop using zwave locks

And no there are no zwave extenders. All you can do is add more zwave devices in between the last node and the next.

Did I note not to use zwave locks? Just want to be sure of it.
