We are still working on it. Had a death in the family, then when we resumed beta testing we discovered some api differences depending on which generation of the bed that was being used. So we are updating the code to handle different generations gracefully so that we don't get a bunch of support tickets. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk
Yes it's well worth the hefty $25 Msrp price tag. I use them on all just about all of my installs where the main zigbee controller will be in a rack. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk
I haven't done a detailed comparison because I'm not an Apple guy, but I've used both for various clients over the years and the feedback seems to be that the Finite Labs one is much easier to setup and maintain, and everyone seems to prefer it.
I don't believe it matters what type of matrix you're using... By default Control4 will mute the music and play the announcement. It won't pause it.
Lowering the music (vs a full mute) would be a nice enhancement.
Yes you should be able to do that, but it wont' be an Intercom feed where you can talk back/forth to the person at the door, press a button to unlock the door, etc. It would just be a feed of the RTSP stream from the camera. With the Chime doorbell from Control4, you'd get the intercom stuff.
I believe the AVPro ones work, can someone confirm? such as this-

I have a bunch of Bullet Train 5 meter HDMI cables (new in bag), very nice cables that were given to me by AVPro Edge. They are taking up space in my office and I am willing to let them go for next to nothing...PM me if interested.
They are these-

Hopefully the additional cost will help to cover licensing fees that Control4 may need to pay for things like future Apple Music/Spotify/etc integration!
I don't believe anyone is required to sign up for Assist, are they? I read it as an optional subscription and Connect as required. Assist would allow the end user to get direct support from Control4 for some things, rather than having to call their dealer.
I have a few of these left in stock, different part number. I searched the part number you are asking for and didn't find any results on the snap dealer portal. https://www.snapav.com/shop/en/snapav/yale-ayr202-zb-c4 Not sure if they work with Conexis or just Assure line. sounds like its not connected to Control4 then, but your dealer says it is. I can take a quick look if you want, change your Smart Home Pro to Epic Systems LTD and PM me with your name
I have an AVPro Edge Axion 4, which is a 4K 60hz matrix with audio downmixing built in. Great matrix, client upgraded to a larger one. I don't have the receivers but I can order you 4 of those. Can ship to Canada.
PM me if interested.
Agreed, should be an option. They should provide canned stock photos for different room types/names like Savant and others do, so if you don't have a picture of the actual room handy you can at least quickly select from a set of stock photos that make your house look way cooler than it actually is!
