  1. I would do a Clare system. Hands down best and easiest integration with Control4 in my experience. They have small sensors as well, even recessed wireless sensors which go in the door jamb if you don't want to see them at all. PM me if interested, I have them in stock and can also set you up with monthly monitoring for a very reasonable fee.
  2. Good questions, unfortunately I don't understand all of the inter-relationships and inner workings of everything Control4 makes...so perhaps best answered by someone from Control4 who really does. All I know is that troubleshooting 101 has taught me over the years that technology has glitches/bugs/etc and the first thing I do before digging much deeper is to try a quick reboot of the devices in question since that only takes a minute or two, and 95% of the time that solves the problem. If not, then look deeper.
  3. what seems strange (to me anyways) is that rebooting the device in question wasn't your first troubleshooting step, but rather, your last act of desperation after trying everything else!
  4. Once you have the c4 module in, power up the lock and then use the keypad, enter your master code then *, then 7* and 1*
  5. anyone know if there is a way to map the 4 color buttons to the color buttons on the actual remote? (in this case its a Droidlogic Sword+ box) Control is working but the client needs to be able to use the color buttons to switch between different views in the app they are using (OnAir). I only see the ability to map the color buttons to app shortcuts.
  6. Right. Sa1 has 2x IR Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk
  7. Woops sorry posted the wrong link, that's the one I was thinking about. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk
  8. AVPro probably has an IP controllable one I would imagine.
  9. I've used this one, has IR driver not IP https://www.snapav.com/shop/en/snapav/b-240-hdswtch-5x1
  10. Sounds like he has it set to use as a 2 button keypad which is all it should need?
  11. My experience is that the chime does have a very good field of view. Nearly 180 is probably correct. They also have a 15 degree wedge kit which I've installed in a few situations like yours and that helps to some degree (well, 15 to be exact) Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk

  13. I would not recommend using anything other than Control4 keypads, or a Control4 touchscreen. The Control4 keypads are modern looking if you go with the Contemporary button style...I install them in many client homes that are worth 10+ Million and they are perfectly happy with them.
  14. I have literally hundreds of clients using the Chime without issue. Have you worked with a dealer and/or Control4 tech support to try to troubleshoot your issue or are you going at it alone (and via forum posts)?
  15. I believe that means that the name is duplicated, so you should rename it so that there aren't naming conflicts. But I could be wrong.
  16. correct. PM me if you need help purchasing the driver, and I can add it to your system as well.
  17. Renaming can only be done in Pro. Or you can buy the Renamer driver. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk
  18. I would try rebooting the chime and director, and also updating to 3.4.1 for good measure. Do you have At+T phones by chance? At one point I recall there being an issue with them. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk
  19. So this driver still can't be added to new projects at this point, correct? I just tried adding it to a project running 3.4.1 and it gives me the error in Composer.
  20. Have you tried simply swapping it with a known good balun to see if the problem follows the balun?
  21. Control4 has sound machine natively... Any reason to use Autonomic?
  22. Thank you... Looks promising. Does that work with native Pandora? How about in OS 2.10.6? Have you used it?
