    I've had this mini remote (and a second one for that matter) for a few years and changed the batteries on each a few times with no issues. This time when I go to change the batteries it is not working. I get a solid green LED followed by about 14-15 blinking green LEDs and that is it. pressing anything on the remote will not get an LED to light up and no c4 actions take place based on the current programming. my dealer sent a screen shot of instructions to reset several card access devices and for the remote it said: "remove battery > hold down #1 button > release #1 when the green LED changes to blue > then press #4 button until you see the red LED". Well that did not work, nor did I expect it to work because how would the LED's work if you remove (and do not replace) the batteries? I tried it as written, then I removed the batteries, held down #1, and replaced the batteries, but still, green never changed to blue. http://www.videonadzor2.com/assets/prodpdf/ZCA-IMR10A-ZP.pdf - on the instruction sheet has pretty much the same instructions (albeit with holding down #1 as you put in the batteries which I tried as mentioned above) and nothing is happening. Any thoughts?

    Any limitations on hardware for this to work on a touchscreen/TV UI? EA Controller? Latest touchscreens?

    worked like a charm. I just had to go back in and put in my API key and User Code or whatever and saved those in C4. Not sure if those two fields went back when moving from Houselogix > DriverCentral or another reason, but once I re-input it and refreshed it started to work again Thanks for the support!

    I was looking at the Echo spot and figuring how this could maybe replace a touchscreen for intercom interactions. The limitation is you could not verbally talk to who is at the door, but using IFTTT or other potential skills if the door rings you could see who is at least at the door. It is a cheap way to get that visual into certain rooms in a house. I know the touchscreen allows to pick sources on TVs, lights, scenes, etc. But $999 vs $129, and with people using verbal cues to control c4 with Alexa vs interacting with a touch screen I wonder how this may impact some sales? I have a home rennovation project pending for this fall or maybe spring and I wonder if I would invest in more touchscreens or look at this route as a potential.

    Do we use Pushover or Pushsafer? I looked at the documentation on the driverCentral website and the installation manuals do not look updated. I would assume if you are hosting the images we would be using Pushover. Am I missing something obvious?

    @alanchow - I have the Notification suite via an older purchase at Houselogix. I do not see the Pushsafer driver installed. I have to have my dealer migrate my current license to your new hosting platform then I can get Pushsafer? I am hoping I do not need to repurchase anything? Thanks for the clarification.

    I agree. Pre RR2 select - about a month ago - I went to the Lutron Experience showroom in NYC. very nice guy running it but I left more confused! I was looking at blinds and Serena vs Sivoia or whatever and RR2 and Caseta etc. seems like blinds are identical but only Sivoia runs on RR2 etc. I can almost grasp it but way too many product lines.

    Hi Alan I noticed this as well. Is there a limit on Pushsafer? I created an account and it says I have 20 messages. And then I see an area where I can buy more messages. So this is going to cost me now per message sent? I also have your IFTTT driver - all I am trying to accomplish is when my door bell/door station rings, send the photo of who is at the door to my cell phone(s). Any suggestions?

    No problem mr steam support was very helpful. Any questions just ask the steamist driver looks nice so good there are options. Please report back as I'm going to start my work in about 2 months

    I am subscribing as I am interested. I did some research just a few weeks ago and here are some notes I sent myself on Mr Steam. Thermasol support told me they offer zero integration. I did not look into the Steamist brand but good to know Houselogix has a driver. For Mr Steam - there is basic control with control4 - and that is on and off. cant set temps, change light colors, etc. http://www.mrsteam.com/homewizard is the hardware you need and you can run an Ethernet between this device and the steam generator and another Ethernet between the device and your automation system and you can simply turn the system on/off and I have to double check but I think the system could see status feedback if it is on or off (good for a custom button). I was told when setting up the generator you set a default temp and it takes about 25 mins to usually hit that temp, so if you press "on" via control4, it will start to heat up to that set temp. I believe you would then use the Mr Steam interface to select lights (chromotherapy), select aromatherapy options, etc. Music I guess you could wire via c4 and play music via that interface or through the Mr Steam options. They also told me iSteam 3.0 should be coming out around August and it will support an iOS App. So you would be able to use the app to turn on the unit, pick music/color/aromas, etc. Right now the only way to control it is through their interface devices (minus a simple on/off via home automation system) Status would be good so if you have a good night setting you could make sure the generator is off, or if the generator is on you could have a doorbell chime in the bathroom if someone rang your doorbell, or you could get a text when it goes on to make sure it didn't accidentally get turned on or if a kid was messing with it, etc. So though you cannot control everything, ability to turn on/off and see status would be beneficial. Curious as to what others have to say. Looking at the Houselogix Steamist driver it appears to be the same functionality as the HomeWizard device for Mr Steam?

    brilliant! 3 years in and I am still not sure my Kwikset notifications are set up properly. Next time I contact my dealer I'll look to install this as I have Kwikset, SR 250s and both Card Access and NYCE sensors.

    From what I've read, lots of battery operated cameras arent "always on" to save on battery. They wait for motion then start to record. How does the Reolink work? Could I set one up and view it / record it 24x7 if I want to? Their website claims 180 days in "stand by" mode. What is your experience or knowledge working with the company?

    Stumped. I'll email support at dark sky. Hopefully they reply. Otherwise any ideas to trigger for snow? Temp plus precipitation?

    https://darksky.net/dev/docs/response I looked before posting, it says rain, snow or sleet. But with my own eyes I've seen light snow. in programming could I use *snow* or something to pick up any words that may come before or after snow?

    Thanks @alanchow For "Current Weather Conditions" is there a list of what the program offers? For instance it says "clear" right now. Last week when I was playing around it was lightly snowing outside so it said light snow. I want to program something for when its snowing, so do they offer light snow, snow, moderate snow, severe snow, blizzard, etc. Do you know what those variables are because for your programming I would need to write them in IF current weather conditions = XYZ.....

    @alanchow - a few questions: 1) What is the difference programming off Forecast.io vs programming off of Open Weather Map? 2) Also I see in the API allows for precipitation type and precipitation accumulation - is it possible to update the driver to get that info into Control4? 3) for Precip Probability, their documentation says its the probability between 0 and 1, inclusive. What does that mean? What if I wanted to program something saying "if the probability is 95%....). In your driver would I just use 95% under the programming conditionals? 4) Lastly - your documentation points to a "get weather" programming step - is that needed to then program off the variables? I can see under monitoring all the current conditions are there, but do I need to program "get weather" at 6am as you suggest so other things trigger? I am looking to get some heated stairs to work given certain conditionals, that is my end game Thanks in advance!

    Got a screen shot of the driver under programming? Again it was my insistence and persistence that got that "button press" added to the driver. So I know its there because I use it a ton. I also only have 1 cat going to the unit, but I am not using the Viking unit. Any reason why they recommended that model? I used the regular VIO module (not VIO 2) with a 400 series doorstation: http://eholovision.com/vio-by-holovision-2/ for SIP, http://eholovision.com/ip-camera/ for camera and http://eholovision.com/model-424/ for the door station you can see in my review below that back in April they updated the driver to allow to program against a button press, so now I have it sending photos of people when they ring the bell, door chime playing in the house on speakers, etc. It was not as plug and play as the C4 model, but its got more features, a movable camera which I love and a few other nice perks.

    I have a 400 series model. Uses same drivers I bet. My issues were with lack of a door bell chime but instead a phone ringing sound. I have a work around they updated the driver so you can program off the press of the button. It took a few months but they did it. Sure you had the right version?

    thanks I got it working. I had something called Xmas Tree Switch and I changed it to Xmas_Tree_Switch, I am 99% sure everything was the same and now it works - maybe you need the _ if doing separate words vs using a space?
