I’m out of ideas, why don’t unlink, reboot controller and try again if not working then unregister and re-register controller and setup Alexa again, this was one of the solutions before, I have no other ideas, mine working without any issue. My main controller is EA5 on 3.3.3.

For Alexa not recognizing lights, did u changed any of these lights in the project? Also did u checked in customer.control4.com the unique commands required for these lights? Doing so u can rediscover devices on Alexa and all will be fixed. Lights is auto discover as well whatever u allowed to be discovered, rest can be done with the voice scene.

I think we all understand it’s not C4 fault, again these services does not steam in my country through C4, odd thing is iHeart Radio works fine outside C4! Anyways am happy with all these services streams to C4 just fine!

U can still creat custom buttons to handle the TV Vol @ night but it won’t be as flexible as using the vol button of the remote, this is the only way if u want to avoid creating a separate room In my case as I don’t like separate rooms; my TV is the prime Audio and Audio Video endpoint, I have a soundbar that is totally controlled from custom buttons sub menu where I can do whatever if I need to fire the Soundbar!

You need to create another room call it “Night” for example where u bind TV as Audio and Video Audio endpoint, leave main Room as-is, this is the only way, the 2 sources scenario u listed will not work to control from any UI/Remote!

I had to use NAD node as native C4 doesn’t work outside USA, so there is no iHeart Radio, Pandora and SirusXM for xample, so I have BlueSound, Sonos, and Duet+ to cover all my sources, Duet+ gives me Pandora, YouTube and native Spotify!

It’s C4 who does all this, LMS hold many music sources like Sonos and BS, u could use local AVR’s as a zone to your LMS players, it can be controlled with C4 for AVR’s players won’t be integrated thought. There is no driver written that integrates LMS to C4, no one build it, I want to learn LUA to be able to get my drivers up and running I have a couple of required ones!

I have many streaming sources they all sent to an input of a controller, I have beside the Ovation, BlueSound Node and a Sonos Amp, most services available at all the sources + what is natively available in C4. The Ovation Duet+ have 3 outputs, u can build an LMS with 8 outputs and use it to feed your 24x24 Audio Amp if u have such thing Your use case is different, but I find LMS is amazingly good after all these years and community support is incredible really!

But they stopped C4 driver integration through Chowmain exactly like those idiots of Tuya!

Yes am using LMS through Fusion Research’s Ovation Music System, https://www.fusionrd.com integrated to C4 using their developed C4 driver, streamed into one of EA5 inputs to be able to have it across all audio zones. I have no issue with meta-data, ur post is so long, am trying to read through it!

How many we lost in the past 4 yrs, Insteon, Wink, Iris, etc. The likes of Sony, Dlink, WeMo that keep closing down complete lines of business, u end up with (IOS) Internet-of-Shit devices that good for nothing!

I have another experience, had been using C4 Panelized Switches/Dimmers in addition to C4 Puck Switches/Dimmers since 2016, not a single complaints for 7 yrs, all I do is to use a good quality Dimmable bulbs, Osram/Philips/IKEA only, so far so good!

This is unfortunate sad news but rather imminent! These companies while having a great product designs can’t sustain lifetime business based on such product/pricing, u can’t live being niche player, thought these companies launches on a hope some one would acquire them! So did they had a cloud based system or Chowmain driver can make them work cloudless?

Is it registered? If Yes then delete each TS and re-add it via SDDP, try one by one to correctly add each in its corresponding room, try one and see if it’s working, if not then delete communication agent and all TS’s then start by Agent and TS one by one, this is the entire play book, not sure what else can be done!

Try to stop FreeSwitch Service and enable it again, there was a bug that had been fixed in 3.3.3

Hello folks, DST timing for Egypt started April 28th (Last Friday in April) and it’s GMT+3 = Central Europe Summer Time now, will be returning back to GMT+2 October 27th (Last Thursday in Oct), can u pls fix it! Workaround costs: - Broken Automations - A manual selection of a time zone twice a year - Controller reboot every time I change time zone (this alone bring other issues that need to be reworked every time the controller reboots!) Pls if it’s fixed some one notify us to go back and fix the settings of the time zone we manually selected to overcome this issue!
