    The best thing to open a ticket with Chowmain, they are pretty responsive and will fix u up, I have no issues with bond on my side.

    I hear you. I just give unique names for my lights just to stop it from being forgotten by Alexa, the other side of the equation is Amazon Alexa itself, the system sometime does some weird shit, with or without C4 it has its issues!

    I don’t understand why u r blaming C4 for, group the lights if u want to reduce the clutter, also use Alexa voice scene for complex stuff, am sure you can figure it out, don’t let a dealer do it or the labor costs will hit you hard, that’s easily 40 hrs work, not less than $400-$500, it requires extensive work, take it room-by-room and you will be there. Also on the controller thing, am not sure it’s a controller limitation!

    Yeah, it doesn’t work for over a year now, may be will be fixed in 2025 or 26, just use voice only for now.

    Are u talking Halo’s or Neeo’s, as the first should have this dropping fixed!? What network gear do u have?

    Need to install Control4 app on any device u want it to appear on your list. Remember to use different email accounts for different people’s devices or it won’t work

    I saw this issue before, as it involves 2 accounts, HE was struggling to connect to one, can’t remember what was the fix, u may reach out to @msgreenf he was involved with case exactly like yours!

    Are u using any firewall? Anyways, make sure your DNS is working properly, flush your PC DNS and try to connect again, it simply can’t reach C4 servers for authentication!

    This is why I want u to move URTSII to 3.5mm cause u know it’s working, again and to simplify things and not to use many adapters only use RS232 to LAN, that’s it, u have to get a serial tester as u can’t shoot in the dark like this!

    Of course u can, I’m using it this way Serial to 3.5mm into EA3 to UTRSII, works perfect, also time to move to Bond Bridge!

    Get a female version then, see Amazon, tons of listings, can u use one of the serial ports instead and get a serial to lan pair? So the idea is to shift one of the serial ports to 3.5mm and use this serial with the lan to extend to the other room!

    It figures, am sure he did . This adapter is not compatible! U need to figure out a way to test it away from C4 just to see if it works but I do believe u need to use the ones that we are sure it works, get one it’s $9 anyways. Also do u have a tester just to make sure the lan cable is correctly terminated and working well?

    Remote support located in a village in India, or whatever, they are given a manual to read from without understanding what they are or what they are trying to fix or even the problem, this business model suck!

    Make sure u can see hidden files in windows and uninstall HE and any other composer releases: 1) Open File Explorer/Windows Explorer 2) Type %AppData% into the address bar and hit enter 3) Navigate to “Roaming” folder 4) Navigate to “Control4” folder 5) Delete it 6) Restart windows 7) Install a fresh copy of HE same version of your controller

    Try to completely delete all hidden directories under roaming after uninstalling HE again, start with a clean install of HE that matches your controller version

    U don’t need to control 300 device by voice, this is just too much, limit this to most common and most used ones, I kept mine under 200 and happy never had an issue, just a global issue when Amazon sinks every once and a while!

    That will be cool, I had a lot of stuff with the driver as well and some involved some programing in Home App itself, one of the greatest uses cases ever is Geofencing, I do a lot with this alone

    All help desk ticking are IT in nature with complex stuff, not sure what to advise in this case all are heavy weight ones with a subscription, I don’t know of a light weight one, maybe some one can send good recommendation for a very simple and light ticketing solution.

    Take a look @ the supported devices above, what are u missing from it? I have varietas as well, but the Jason; while is easy; still a code to write and maintain and supports less number of devices. I also use to have issues wth Blinds, not sure its fixed now or not.

    cnicholson, answers to ur questions: - FL doesn’t work with child drivers; I consider this better for simplicity of setup, not sure even with the other driver I can use this for firing commands without adding room name first, but I think this can be done from home app itself, I didn’t need it but Derek might jump in and help with this - Yes

    It’s also related to how the driver is using the location to lock in the service area so iHeart doesn’t work on C4 but it does work on all iPhones, Android devices, anyways no complaints as I have a very good working alternative

    Am not sure how that is the issue of the driver if another controller works fine then it’s the controller issue? My 2 cents!
