Okay just found out that version 3.2 is out! Why Composer is not advising there are drivers to update? Well I will need to understand the release notes from NAD website before asking my dealer to update!

My Driver version is 3.0.8 and it’s the latest driver from BS and it’s newer than the online version, it had been the case since day one which is running for more than 14 months now!

Yes no need to reboot controllers just T3/T4, close/open mobile app twice!

Yes, after the update u need to power cycle each unit to get the new menu, not sure why it doesn’t pick up the menu after the upgrade! Anyways not too much of a work around!

Are u using the correct receiver driver? Is it added via SDDP or manual? If it’s the correct driver it should shut off your receiver, but u can also manually program it but it’s not a correct thing it’s a bit of workaround. When Room OFF send turn OFF command to your receiver, which I don’t thing will work cause u r not using the correct driver!

Well my dealer pushed the remote update and all ended up with zero issues. They might fixed the DS2/EAx issue, I can’t confirm yet as after the update Freeswitch didn’t hang like before so may be they fixed it, for Panelized Lighting v1 issue of not connecting back to project after a controller reboot remains not fixed for more than a year now!

This menu is only for T4? No, for T3 and mobile app as well, but a reboot is required after upgrade!

Shelly operates out of US as well with a huge US stock, so u might find them with 2-3 days delivery. I prefer Domaudeo driver as it’s local, I love the driver property and everything about it, no cloud option in the first place, I know Chowmain have this option as well, but I was really happy with both, can’t say what attracted me but you may try both and decide, drivers comes with 90 days trial so your dealer should implement both and let you play with ComposerHE and you decide, both are same price! There are 2 ways of achieving what you want, u either have a relay mounted on the door and it will give u when Opened/Closed or if you integrate a relay into your door opener controller u can do this as well, but u will need 12 vdc power source + NC/NO relay input at your controller, depends on your equipment and setup.

C4 is taking care of its part, how about Amazon do something about their continues outages every quarter!

I understand your frustration with the DS, I had zero issues with it in OS2 Days, for the DS2 mini; as I have enough outdoor lighting; I’m also happy with it in OS3 era. It’s not how good it looks, it’s how long it will withstand the harsh environment it’s installed @, in my country nothing of the fancy stuff lives like the DS, it’s 5+ yrs and only removed to upgrade to OS3! So sturdy and yes endurance matters to me the most! You can pick on C4 pitfalls but it’s just my experience and I stay away of troubled gears anyways!

There was a huge outage for a Alexa the past days while Amazon restored their services some others still affected! Patience, C4 fixing it.

Can u share some of your issues and dissatisfaction with C4 solutions, I found this the opposite of what I experienced since I deployed c4 in 2016. If u need a WiFi based solution seek Shelly’s Door & Window Sensor. 2 c4 Drivers to choose from Chowmain and Domaudeo. I use both in 2 different houses, the later is used in my main house.

I will try to share my views for FL vs DTI’s driver: - HomeConnect is much cleaner and easier to handle - Your dealer will love it! it’s a single driver vs DTI many sub-drivers to install and it does everything for him/you! - It connects to your HB setup and installs the Plug-In, add enough bridges (limitation of Apple HK of 150 devices per bridge) and give you the whole thing in much less time - Easier to add/remove end devices, etc - Supports more sensors and device types than DTI’s - Watch and Listen activities with volume control, DTI’s support Watch only with no volume control - Supports Apple Native Dynamic Lighting, DTI does not - Supports virtual switches and buttons In a nutshell It will give you full control of entire C4 devices into Home App, so if you have Lutron integrated into C4 it will give you this ability if not then u need to find a plug in for Lutron into HB, it will control it from Home App only and you will not control it from C4, same goes for Hayward and DSC.
