  1. I just don’t want people steering away from them because some people might not know how to integrate them. And no, the Vera integration doesn’t count. I used it before by itself and it was crap. Go ahead and buy the C4 z-wave dongle and it will be fine. If you need help finding someone that will add it and the door lock, just send me a message. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. So is it because you aren’t the only ones that can supply them? I’m struggling with this. And frankly, z-wave plus devices have fantastic range. I have two Schlage locks that are over 5 years old. With the C4 z-wave module, they have performed better than my c4 locks. The c4 options are not the greatest and cost twice as much as they should. To the OP, just get help from a dealer that understands z-wave. The guy I worked with did a great job and realized that each protocol has its own little quirks. I’m sure it sucks when we can drive to Home Depot and get a $169 Schlage lock that isn’t locked down by C4. But not all of us end users have thousands and thousands to spend. 3. What’s wrong with z-wave locks? My Schlage lock ran very well. My C4 zigbee locks always died after 4 months and constantly threw low battery warning notifications. Just curious why people think that z-wave locks are junk? Are is it z-wave you think is junk?

  7. Updated on 5/1//2020 I tried to hold on to everything but unfortunate events are causing me to have to sell my system. If anyone is interested, I have the following items. Feel free to contact me if interested. Configurable key pad already had labels C2ZIO black Yale lever lock touchscreen oil rubbed bronze Ecobee3 with 5 sensors (1st gen) Doorbird silver Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Doesn’t seem like a crazy request. Others have had it for a while. It was one of the reasons I bought the watch. Even when they did have one, it always malfunctioned. This savant watch app has always worked well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I have several if you need to purchase. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  12. No haha. Maybe an intervention to prevent divorce!
  13. In excellent condition. If there are any imperfections, I cannot see them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Not near as much activity there though. Mostly people trying to figure out how to make MyQ work with a Vera. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. There is some programming you can do. I say programming, obviously I mean basic stuff. I can set up scenes. I can build them by adjusting each item or I can take a snapshot of the way the house is at any current time and save it as a scene. I can also set up schedule. All can be done from the app. Definitely not as comprehensive as HE but stuff can be done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Great price! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Mine doesn’t do that but if I hold down the select button it will dim. If I release and hold down again it will brighten. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I am seeing the same thing. Long load times of at least 20 seconds and then the screens don’t fully load. And suddenly my cameras are no longer showing the preview again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Will anyone who has used the driver comment on your experience so far? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Control4 really needs one at least as an option. The utility of the current remote is great but most people I hand it to hate it. It makes the system feel dated and most people besides us tech heads don’t want all of those buttons. It’s really the last thing Control4 needs. To be honest, I love my Savant remote but the system lacks a lot of third party support. My wife still loves Savant better than Control4 but I think a smoother, more modern remote would make her look at it again. The T3s are ok but they break all the time and they are unreasonably priced. Just make a touchscreen remote and be done with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I agree with you. Almost all of the other remotes on the market are nicer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Not in composer HE. You’ll need a dealer to add the “home” room for you. We are actually looking at giving two rooms our names so it’s easy for each of us to have favorites. Similar to Clare Controls and Savant. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
