  1. Everything by GJD is super robust, top quality kit.
  2. This will do exactly what you want and is completely wireless. We've use them for very similar purposes in the past. They are IP65 rated and offer 500m transmission range to the receiver unit. For every detector PIR unit, the receiver unit then has relay outputs for detection/alarm, tamper, low battery and loss of signal. All you need to do is wire the desired relay outputs to contact inputs on a controller, IO Extender or even wireless Z2IO. https://www.gjd.co.uk/products/wireless-detectors/d-tect-x-mkiii-range https://www.gjd.co.uk/products/wireless-detectors/d-tect-x-receiver-gjd392
  3. Could you not just build an RS232 driver using their published commands list? https://www.optoma.co.uk/uploads/RS232/ZU650-RS232--.pdf
  4. I encountered a similar issue with an old Philips TV a client of mine had. I had to switch between HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 and you had to send Source button and then move up or down the list. What I had to do was use a variable to record what the last input the system was on and then based on that it would either not change or it would know whether to press up or down after the source command. In this system the video output of the 4x4 matrix was connected to HDMI 1 and the local EA-1 for onscreen nav was connected to HDMI 2. See screenshots below for an example of how I achieved this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ek2h004u1jprblk/Screenshot 2019-10-24 16.39.31.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/42mce3lf38jrlyp/Screenshot 2019-10-24 16.40.11.png?dl=0
  5. I can help with the driver and setup if you like. You should not be trying to control any IP device via Wi-Fi though, that is a recipe for disaster.
  6. We only use the Annex4 driver, I've had no end of issues with C4's own LG IP drivers, particularly with them not coming out of standby again once switched off from C4.
  7. Exactly, with the cable up in the ceiling void, we can easily bring it out a short distance from the speaker and surface mount if required.
  8. Ok, so tell us all for the benefit of others do they don’t make the same mistake.
  9. If you’re playing something then just click on the cover art for the current media playing that shows up on the room’s home page. If you have an SR260 remote for that room too, just press the info button and will take you to Now Playing screen on Navigator OSD.
  10. To save a favourite playlist then start playing the playlist via Spotify Connect into C4 system then in C4 app click on the Heart symbol at top right of Now Playing screen. This will save the playlist to show up under 'Listen - Stations'. One saved there, if you browse to the favourited playlist under Stations, press and hold on the Playlist name to favourite it to a room and get it to show up on the room's home page.
  11. I find a single sheet of plasterboard does not have a massive impact on the 5GHz performance and there also has to be a balance between outright performance and aesthetics/visibility for the clients I work for.
  12. We always run a single CAT6 to one of cutouts for every room with ceiling speakers being fitted for WAP. Then we can just hide the WAP in the ceiling void next to the speaker so not visible at all. Easy for servicing too as just need to take speaker out to access.
  13. Hi Edward, did you not have any luck with the stereo to mono cables I sent you?
  14. I never use the input button, you should never need to normally if you have programmed all your bindings properly and are using the discrete input commands. Feel free to edit the driver for your own purposes and map the hex code used for input toggle to the input button on the OSD if you wish to.
  15. If I create a driver I do it properly and include every command the device has available. Can use all commands via programming if you ever need to for other purposes.
  16. Here is a link to all Samsung TVs with IP drivers in the C4 database. https://drivers.control4.com/solr/drivers/browse?q=samsung&fq=primaryProxy%3A"tv"&fq=controlMethod%3A"ip"
  17. No, that's far too basic a model to have IP control. Still with my IR driver and you will be fine.
  18. If you need any help with this I can help out. Just PM me.
