  1. So, my scenario is that I want my blinds to come down 30% if the TV is turned on within 2 hours of sunset. (Because in those two hours the angle of the sun is directly on the TV) So I have this, which won't go more than 60 minutes.
  2. My problem with neil.ai is that I tried a command, "come over and have some bourbon" and I'm still waiting on it to complete the request 2 years later.
  3. I looked a lot at Josh. Things I liked: better music control through C4, better announcements, better voice recognition/natural language. Reason I didn't go with it: most of this I can already do with Alexa and I'd still need Alexa b/c Josh can't search the web for questions.
  4. C4's built in scheduler has some bizarre limitations. In my case - I want a set of blinds to lower 2 hours (120 min) before sunset. C4 seems to only let me schedule things within 60 minutes of sunset. Is there a way to do this in C4? Is there a better scheduler driver otherwise?
  5. Is there really not a third party driver for Twinkly lights?
  6. I haven't used Blue stacks in a couple of years. But it definitely seems pretty responsive, doesn't spike my CPU to crazy percentages, and aside from a couple of graphical glitches sometimes, seems okay.
  7. As of today, the c4 app for OS 3 is missing on the Google store. Anyone have any idea what's going on? I tried this from three different phones.
  8. This is actually wrong, it works just fine. C4 doesn't require google play dependencies.
  9. Going to bump this up in case anyone has heard of a fix or think they can figure it out.
  10. Is there a reason you can't just connect them to a C4 dimmer switch?
  11. Has anyone thought about doing a driver update for the reolink cameras driver that supports the vehicle detection or person detection API? If someone's done it, can someone point me in the right direction?
  12. Well, the answer is no - at least not in any meaningful way. there are no lights in the unilogiq driver to see the state of - it just activates scenes, etc. So won't be much more help as far as seeing state.
  13. Good point. It would be cheaper to replace a $1 switch than get a lot of $5 engravings.
  14. Well, I'm not sure. It does say it polls the bridge, but the actions in the driver don't seem to have much on/off state interactions. However, I also haven't really looked into it. I'll try later this week and see.
  15. I don't have any of the essential line of switches. I never expected to etch any of my keypads or switches, so I might have tried them. I therefore feel pretty comfortable saying the the real version. I have, over time, engraved every single switch and keypad I have. With a smart home, it's kind of critical that you (and your guests!) Know what buttons do. Totally worth it and really, if you are spending that much money already, just do it right.....
  16. Sure. At one point I had four or five different Hue labs projects on a hub. Control4 would take 10 to 15 seconds to turn on a light group on that hub. I deleted all the Hue lab stuff, and things are back to normal. I didn't really care much about any of the Hue labs that I was running, so I didn't really look into exactly what was causing it. I do still have a couple hue labs things on a hub, like the multiple motion sensor lab , and that does work fine. One thing worth noting is that hue labs takes up memory on the hub. It appears you can actually add more accessories and lights to a hub that doesn't have a lot of scenes or hue lab stuff in it.
  17. I have 10 hue bridges -works just fine. HOWEVER - the native C4 drivers work, mostly. However, you have to do a lot of pauses, etc to get the driver to not overload the hue bridge. Unilogiq has a new beta driver that actually pulls the scenes from the hue bridges and works with no latency. I suggest you grab a trial and try it. The issues with the native hue drivers aren't as noticeable until you get to multiple bridges. Some suggestions: Don't put more than 40 devices on a hue bridge. Since C4 can control multiple bridges, just buy another bridge. Since the bridges are essentially free when you get a starter kit, this makes sense. The control4 native hue driver screws up your rooms and zones. If you are going to be doing a lot in the hue app, get the unilogiq driver instead. Hue labs can screw with the C4 integration. Just a heads up.
  18. I also recommend Reolink - very inexpensive and have very good zoom lens. I also have used the amcrest ones. Yeah, they are repackaged, but if you need a good zoom, they have a $300 PTZ with a huge zoom. For an NVR, I'm using a Synology box with 80TB. 26 cameras and running amazingly well. Lousy C4 integration, but I kind of gave up on that working with any camera reliably.
  19. No issues from me. I'm also using the native C4 app and it seems ok.
  20. Um. No. The software does not get automatically authenticated. I don't have a working driver. One that I have paid for. You don't know what you are talking about here, sorry.
  21. Such as? Regardless of anything "going on" this is not the way to treat a customer. Also, this is not industry standard. None of the other driver sites have had any issues moving my drivers.
  22. My old dealer is not in business anymore, as far as I can tell. They moved to another state from what I understand and I have no working contact info.
  23. Also, I'm NOT asking for access to the driver. I am asking them to move my license to a new dealer.
