  1. PM sent with MAG IR driver. I can't guarantee that it works as I haven't used it for a couple of years. Try it and see.
  2. Big +1 for Intesis and Alan's driver. Works perfectly.
  3. Shield is great. The AI upscaling works well. Then you use videostorm IRUSB to integrate into Control4.
  4. I will see if I can dig it out. I stopped using MAG boxes a long time ago - Dreamlink T3/Formuler Z8 are way better for IPTV, or Nvidia Shield running something like Tivimate.
  5. I couldn’t find discrete power On/Off IR codes for Samsung sound bars when I looked a few months ago.
  6. Bind the TP-Link Outlet (103/105) to a Chowmain Outlet Light driver. It's included in the pack of drivers. Then add the experience driver, and program off it. Experience button will be in your Device Events, and the Outlet Light Driver will be in Device Actions
  7. It's a sweet little experience driver, that allows you to control Christmas tree lights using an outlet switch. You get a Christmas Tree icon for a touchscreen/iOS device, which lights up when the lights are on.
  8. Just noticed that the UDM Pro is on promotion at $299 today. That's a good deal. Can the NVR part of this hardware use Hikvision cameras, or does it need Unifi cameras to use any of the functionality ?
  9. It's that time of year again. Just linking this here for those who have forgotten about it/haven't used it before... https://www.c4forums.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=4883
  10. Or use the number keys. 1 = 10%, 2 = 20% and so on. Nice little shortcut.
  11. Asking for a friend in the UK (Cambridgeshire) who is building a new home (anticipated start date March 2021). He wants to get the technology part of this right, and he's been using me as a consult. So far, his conversations with C4 dealers haven't been very impressive, and he's beginning to get sidetracked in discussions with lighting designers, HVAC installers etc. My instincts would always be to retain an automation person early on, to make sure that everything plays nicely as the project progresses. Looking for recommendations for a great person to act as his eyes and ears, and to do install and programming as the project progresses.
  12. Definitely do a full power cycle.
  13. Be careful - a lot of those adjustable hole cutters are a real bear to use. I've not found one yet that I trust.
  14. Yup - there's a POE version. Definitely the better option if you can run the ethernet cable
  15. If it's your first time trying to terminate CAT6 cable, then your best friends are plugs with load bars/inserts. I use the Monoprice ones with no issues.
  16. Interesting report. I just upgraded us from 300/300 to 1gig. I used to see around 250 DL on the wifi in most of the house. After upgrade (like you, getting around 850 at the router) I average 350Mbps on the DL on wifi, pretty much irrespective of location or device. Would be interested to hear what things look like if you install a second R650. And of course what happens if you have a WiFi6 device to test.
  17. Our central vac could suck the tiles off the roof at 50 yards. At my last house it was more like an asthmatic mouse. I never thought of repurposing the plumbing it for better things.
  18. That's pretty ingenious. I'd never thought of that before.
  19. I think that that this will print to scale, but you may want to check a couple of the dimensions if you can. DS2_Template.pdf
  20. Firmware is free to everyone. Takes a few minutes to do, that's all. Easy.
