I've been using these...they work pretty good but are a little bit on the stiff side.

I used those and they felt cheap and like you said they were stuff.  I then used Snap’s cables which we’re nice but too long.  I need shorties to go from amp to audio matrix.

ill try the planets maybe

The cable is all the same, you just by the bulk length that you need.

same goes for the ends, rca is offered in straight or 90 degree, so you buy which one works for you.

Is it RG-6 cable that they use?

They seem to have at least three types of RCA cables, nickel, gold-plated and a higher quality gold. Is the nickel good enough?

It’s not RG6.  The cable is much smaller, I’d say about the thickness of a 6’ hdmi cable.

Ive never sprung for the more expensive connectors, so that should tell you something!

PW does have their own 3.5 adapter and does work well.  I use them with mini PC’s all the time.

We use the pre-made Planet Waves 3.5m jack to unterminated ends. Just need to cut back to length and then fit the PW RCA ends on.

They come in a 1.82m length so long enough for most internal rack purposes.

Same, PW 3.5mm, as above, then make length and terminate standard RCA PW ends. If for some reason you really need longer, they have RCA female ends as well.

And yeah, PW uses it's own (though fully rated) cable.

It's thinner than most CAT6 cables, a bit thicker than most CAT5 and flexes easily unlike regular coax (stranded core).

PW isn't cheap, but for custom stuff it's not been beaten in my book.

I spoke to a sales rep for the PW distributor here in Canada and he said that they use RG-59 cable.  Regular coax these days is RG-6 which is quite a bit thicker.

It appears that PW is loke C4 in that they don't sell to end consumers, you have to buy through a dealer - potentially your C4 dealer.
