  1. Let me know how it goes. I think I set my sensitivity from high to medium. I didn’t adjust the driver to be IP vs SDDP. Saving that for if problems persist. Did yours wake up and do its thing like normal this morning?
  2. Well, went over there and my 6 year old was watching a movie - that’s a good sign! The factory remote isn’t anywhere he could find it. I asked him when he came in if it was just black or a painting and he said it was a painting. Tuesday is one morning where I’m not up and about as early as normal so I’ll check again tomorrow. Hoping it had gone to sleep due to lack of motion, and he woke it up as he was milling around. Time will tell but I consider this a success so far!
  3. I’ll venture to that part of the house soon and see how things are today. If it’s unresponsive I’m going to try sending commands from composer to attempt to wake it up. If one of those works, then I’ll just schedule that command. I did disable “Night Mode”, and hoping that will help.
  4. Thanks, Shoe. Power Off mote is set to Art Mode. Once I turn the TV on using the OEM remote, I can control it just fine from Control4. No issue there at all. I was doing some Googling, and it sounds like "Sleep After" and "Night Mode" are problematic when they're both turned on, and in my case they are. I'm going to try turning off Night Mode tonight, and see if the problem persists tomorrow morning.
  5. Control over mine is rock solid, aside from this one issue only in the morning where it doesn't seem to want to wake up. What's weird, is I would think it would wake itself up based on the motion in the room...so makes me wonder if it's something with the TV.
  6. Thanks, Ari. I was just going off the documentation that said to be sure to use SDDP. So I can set a static IP and go make that change in Composer. Do you think that would solve my issue of it not waking from what appears to be some sort of deep sleep?
  7. On Saturday, we installed a new Frame TV. I set it up with the driver via SDDP, and have the Art Mode Mini App installed. I have it configured so when you turn off the room it turns on art mode, and all of that works great. However, each morning, the TV won't turn on via Control4. It has gone to sleep at some point during the night (the TV is setup to turn off when no motion is detected for a period of time, and that works...we were gone for 6 hours yesterday, came home and the screen was off but within a few seconds of us being there it was back displaying art) and won't turn back on. Control4 says it's in art mode, and no amount of doing anything from Control4 will get the TV to respond at all. I have had to grab the factory remote and turn the TV on. I know that the MAC address is correct, I enabled the Wake On LAN and IP Control. Everything works great as far as commands and what not go, except for when it seems to be in some sort of deep sleep in the morning. Any ideas as to what's going on? I'd love to not have to manually turn it on every morning.
  8. I’ve got a bunch of these in Snow White - probably 150. Shoot me a PM.
  9. Just seeing this is available now, but after I've put together my own solutions that leverage Home Kit and Apple Shortcuts for different use cases. Is anyone using this IntrinsicGroup Tesla driver?
  10. I’ve tried but haven’t found anything that is as connected and seamless as Control4. What we use the most is remotes and touch panels to control audio and video (22 zones or audio and 6 zones of video), lighting via scenes and voice control (this is easy to replicate with other systems), intercom (aspects of this are easy to replicate but not with the buttons on the intercom that are amazing) and general automations. It is integrated in to nearly every aspect of my home. The a/v and physical interface is the hardest thing to replace.
  11. Programming an experience button to perform this action worked perfectly. Thank you!
  12. So you’re saying I find this “action” in the T4 driver and then program it to a UI experience button? Am I tracking correctly? Thank you.
  13. With all my kids I have a lot of traffic in and out of the house. My office is near the front of the house, and often times people knock instead of ringing the doorbell. I have a touch panel on my desk, and I want a shortcut single button press to activate an intercom call with the DS2 mini. In my cursory playing around I couldn't figure out how to do this...is it possible? I don't want to have to go in to intercom, then select the front door from the list of devices...I just want a single click. If anyone can confirm it's not possible, or if it is point me to how to do it, I'd be very appreciative.
  14. I was going to, but where we’ve got guests and a property manager I didn’t want anything that required any explanation.
  15. Reading this thread has me thinking. As I type this, I’m down at my vacation home that we also offer as a luxury AirBNB/short term rental. We have 9 TV’s that each have a Roku on them and 3 different Bluetooth speakers. I’m continually reminded at how much I love video and audio distribution, and my family comments too on why we don’t have the same setup here as we do at home. The media players at each TV isn’t as good an experience, and every TV has two remotes because the Roku remote won’t do the sleep timer. I also have a HomeKit setup at home that’s just for me…haven’t felt like it’s ready for the family yet but keeping trying. I’ve also had it unplugged for a month or so and haven’t noticed. The one thing it does that I value is the MyQ integration and the ability to create some basic graphs in the UI.
  16. We control ours through the Pentair Intellicenter. Works great with C4, but requires a Pentair Intellicenter.
  17. Sweet! I don't know how I missed that.
  18. I think I'm going to order a Tempest Weather Station (https://weatherflow.com/tempest-integrations/). It looks like they have lots of integrations with Crestron, SmartThings, etc... but not Control4. I noticed they do have Weather Underground. I'm unfamiliar with Weather Underground, but understand there is (or at least was) a Weather Underground driver for Control4. Is there a way I can use Weather Underground as a go between to get the data from my personal weather station in to Control4? Can I key the Weather Underground driver to only take data from MY weather station? Anyone with any knowledge on this I'd love to hear your experience. Would love to hear from anyone their thoughts on the Tempest as well.
  19. I just use cheap tape light from Amazon and the DMX lighting driver from Blackwire. Works awesome. Doesn’t change colors automatically, but can use the color wheel to set whatever you want. It’s awesome.
  20. What is a "large house"? How many lighting loads and bulbs are you talking about?
  21. They certainly don’t seem to be working on the Tesla one, either. At this point I’ll probably steer clear of their stuff, considering the snails pace at which updates occur. I’d hate to buy it, then have an update knock it off line for a year or two why they “work on it”.
  22. Yeah, I’ve learned over the last 17 years I’ve had Control4 that there are often time “penalties” imposed for not staying current on the firmware. At this point, the driver just feels like Vaporware to me.
  23. Yeah, I'd love to know as well. I don't have a consistent enough schedule where I can use Tesla's in built scheduling stuff, but live in Utah where it gets really hot and really cold...even in my garage. I have touchpanels on my desk and nightstand that I'd love to use instead of getting out my phone, unlocking, opening the Tesla app, etc...
