    I was the exact same way. Sometimes the cameras, sometimes the shades, etc… because the app took so long to load. This is a MASSIVE improvement and I’m very thankful. Great work team.

    Find a dealer and offer to work for free why you learn the basics, and that start getting pay commensurate with the value provided as you get up to speed.

    I wonder how quickly the geese would stop coming in your yard? Might not need to do it for very long. I too have a struggle with Geese, but a much more difficult one to solve. Kitty corner to my house (my house backs up to a 4 way intersection, and on the opposite corner of my back yard) is a series of water retention ponds that the geese love. About 1.5 miles away is a reservoir that the Geese also love. My house is directly in the flight path. It is not uncommon to have a stream of goose shit going diagonally across my back yard, roof, and driveway. Haven’t had it in the pool yet (that I know of) but I’m sure that time is coming.

    I’m curious…it sounds like you’re afraid your kids will use your cameras to spy on you? Like you’re okay with them seeing them at home, but not okay with them seeing them when they’re away? I would guess that you could specify certain users don’t have “remote access” but I’ll admit I’ve never tried. I need to look in to the whole “user account” thing more…

    I think I sent you an email early this morning. Just posting this here in case I misspelled it or something. Everything seems to be working fine, except my phone shows all the devices as updating and/or no response.

    Not that I’ve seen. What is the exterior of your home wrapped/covered with? Brick? Stucco? Hardie board?

    I love my Dahua cameras and also love BlueIris for the NVR. Blackwire sells an incredible BlueIris driver. That’s what I’d do again, in a heartbeat.

    You’re thinking of Control4 like a universal remote. You don’t need all those steps. Selecting the Zappiti as the source in the theater room should turn everything on. Execute your lighting as part of a scene. If you want to perform the down, enter, over, enter, etc… stuff do that after an appropriate delay. There’s never a need to tell C4 to turn an A/V device on or to select a certain source. If you select it in a room and your bindings are setup right it knows what to do.

    I don’t know how I managed to do it, but I dorked the entire thing. I got the homebridge driver and appliance updated, but I noticed the changes weren’t flowing through to the Home App. I could tell Siri to close the shades and she didn’t know what I was talking about. So I removed the bridges entirely and re-added it. Now in the home app everything just says “updating” and Siri can’t control anything. I can’t figure out what step I’m missing.

    I’m excited about this! I’ve been wanting to use Siri to control the blinds. I’ll give it a go this weekend. And documentation on the blinds integration?

    This is my problem too. Control and status via C4 is unreliable but it’s rock solid through the August app. I too have a UniFi network. If anyone has any ideas I’m all ears.

    So this is setup to have 8 HDMI inputs, and provide 6 HDMI outputs (2 of them via HDBaseT and 4 via HDMI)? Am I understanding that correct?

    I can’t imagine it would be constantly aware of the location…just get the Tesla garage door opener. I forgot 3 and Y have to add them manually. They came from the factory in our cars and they’re brilliant.

    I’ve got one in my pool house and I couldn’t imagine trying to Mount it behind a TV without some sort of can.

    I feel like the triad one is a bit thick to be putting BEHIND a TV. I’d be curious to see the application.

    Couldn’t you just hook this up to relays on a C4 controller and toggle the door open and closed that way?

    Can you tell me specifically which Garadget device you added? I’m sick of not having garage control on C4. I have new motors with MyQ.
