I don’t know what issues you’re having. I had issues initially until I got a dealer who knew what he was doing. I’ve added on and upgraded several times since.

For the last 10 years, I could just browse in HE to the file location, and it worked no problem. WIth the updates, that changed. I couldnt browse, and my images for My Movies didnt show in HE, yet they did on the OSD. I had to log into my HC800 in my network settings, and then it worked like a charm. Not sure if that's the same issue others are having. Not sure why it just started being an issue for me

I scanned in some movies using HE and tried to update the art work. I get the following error message: Invalid path to file. The file selected must exist in the network server Also, the cover art for all other movies is no longer showing in HE. When I go to My Movies, the art work is still there, and I'm able to play all movies, including the one with the error message. Any idea what's creating the error? I'm running 3.1.3 Ive tried with firewall on and off I dont know where the images are meant to be saved. I dont see any in the folder for any of the movies on my NAS

I have 4 Speakerpoints I pulled from my project when I updated to Triad Ones. Three are on the latest OS that supported them. One i never used, and was used so can’t attest to it. I also have a HC250 which was on 2.10.6 when I replaced it. I also have a HC1000 that’s being sitting around a while. If interested, give me offers. I recommend buying HE. No, you cant add devices, but you can do pretty much everything else. Just remember to make back-ups. I've had my system coming up 10 years, and I've added to it greatly over the years. Annual cost is the cost of 4Sight, periodic updates to the lastest OS, occassional addition of devices and equipment, and fixing what I buggered up in HE (I'm not a techie). 3 of those of course are completely dependent on the user and can vary from $0 to $x. I figure I'm averaging $500/year nowadays. If I buy a new switch, I've had the cost of install included (takes minutes) if I do the programming myself to $10-$20 a switch. If it's fixing my messes, it averages around $100/hour, and it typically takes less than an hour with a good dealer: lots of them on this forum.

That’s the same for TV’s. Same price wherever you go. All go on sale at the same time. All dictated by LG, Samsung, etc. I found that out the other year. Apple’s model has proved too successful for others not to emulate it. I’m not a dealer but have been in business, and I struggle to understand why anyone would try and argue against a reasonable mark up for hardware, and a reasonable rate for whatever service for whatever was provided, in this case integration. Sorry to resurrect, but I found the graphics in this useful. In the chain, it demonstrated being able to have several actions: light % increasing after a period of time. I can see Add Action, but it wont let me create an action. see attached. I have V2 lighting. Second related question. I created a default, so I could toggle between active and inactive. Prior to that, there option to deactivate was greyed out; I have that option now. Previously, I could use a voice command to turn on the scene and it would be active; however, I couldnt turn it off. After creating the default, a second scene titled x(toggle) has now being created. Which one do I invoke in programming to turn the scene on and off? To top all of this off, I have the same challenge with media scenes. There I dont even know when they're on let alone track them and turn them on (I didnt create them, my dealer did)

You can always pick up an old Speakerpoint for less than $50 and give that a try, if you're still in 2.1.x. Add it to your project and plug your speakers in. I had ethernet model and worked well for years. The wifi model relied on unsecure wifi, so wouldnt be my choice. I recently replaced them with the Triad One. Pricey, but a nice unit. I managed to find some for a good chunk less than MSRP

You can pick up an 800 for around $100. No truck role required if able to move some wires. Move the IR to the new controller, plug it in. Hire a dealer from here who can remote in and maybe another $100-200 or so to move project over and update to last 2.x.x version. Gets them mobile license too. Depends on how long they want to continue having a trouble free project

Since upgrading to the latest version, I find it very slow to load on my iPhone especially if out of the house, >5 seconds at home and more so away. If loading HE, I find it slow too. I’m running on my 800 as my main controller Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve just replaced a DIM1 dimmer with a KD120. On the dimmer, I connected the blue wire to the traveller to get power to a two button switch at the other end of the hallway, and bound it to the dimmer. For the APD, I’ve wired the yellow wire to the traveller, but I’m not getting power at the two button. Any idea why ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The other month, I had a light turning on by itself using a DIM-Z dimmer. IT did stop after a while, and a number of times of pulling the air gap. Thinking it was the dimmer, I bought an APD dimmer keypad. That was installed several weeks ago and I've had no issues. Yesterday, it was added to the project, and I'm gettign the same issue wiht it turning on periodically, save every 20 minutes. Any idea why or how to log?
