Latest update for the nvidea shield has added support for control4.
Nothing on the nvidea forums on what this means and google not showing anything so wondering if anyone here had any idea of what they are doing?

Same, I have multiple TiVo (Roamios, Mini, Mini 4k, Bolts), and have never seen this behavior.  I have also been a part of numerous TiVo beta projects over the years. 

Is your network config somehow changing to block multicast? when your C4 remote stops working, have you tried with the your mobile app to see if you can use the network remote control functionality?

Just a word of advise, DIY systems is a pain in the ass, you will regret this move for the rest of your life, upgrading firmware and drivers all of the time, fixing breaking things and sudden changes will make your life miserable specially if you hate tech or you growing tired of it ... 

Yes. You could do this with the web view driver from blackwire and a web page that you host somewhere

okay, nevermind.  Apparently I did a bang up job of whitelisting...or something.  I ended up disabling my dns based filtering, rebooted the controller, and the features have returned.  Sorry to take up people's time with this.  Thanks for the help!

I was curious on the same thing.  My guess is the best bet is the IRUSB, similar to other Android devices like the Nvidia Shield.  You would need an IRUSB, then a USB C to usb adapter, then install the IRUSB software on the device from the playstore.  I don't know if this will really work or not, but there is no other IP control for the TiVo Stream 4k right now, since it isn't the normal TiVo software (with network remote code in place).

Thanks for the input.  You're not the first to ask.  Its on our roadmap but we have to redesign our plex full driver to suit the IRUSB controls which involve merging some code and some juggling of pieces.
Not saying it is not going to happen  Definately will but unsure when.

Does anybody have any idea why some logos / icons won't show up in various screens?
As an example, A Netflix mini-app driver for Nvidia Shield.  The Netflix logo will show up on the T3, but it will not show up on the NEEO remote or the iOS app.  Instead of showing the Netflix logo, it shows a default device logo on the iOS app, and on the NEEO remote it shows a black box with a small circle in it. 
I have 2 drivers that act this way.  The other app is a recent Disney+ mini-driver, except that it won't display the logo on any app (other than in the driver listing in Composer).  The apps work correctly, but the missing visual logo is kind of a bummer with the T3 and the NEEO.
Any suggestions?

Does anybody know of a way for a HE user to update icons of existing mini-drivers, in this case, Chowmain IRUSB mini-drivers for Nvidia Shield?  I have added a few of Chowmain's 'custom mini-app' for apps I have on the Nvidia Shield, and would like to add logos / icons for the associate programs instead of the default "star" logo.  I am thinking this will be useful for others on Tuesday, once Disney+ is available as well.
I apologize if this is common knowledge, or i missed it in older posts.  I tried searching, and didn't find much.

Do you still have another EA1 for sale?
