What inputs/outputs does the CA10 have? I can't find a picture yet of the back as I'm considering replacing my oldest controller (HC800) with this. I'm currently using an EA5 as main and 2 EA3s also in system. My security system and at least 1 relay are connected to the 800 as of now.

Finally got the 3.1 software working for some reason.... but just noticed a difference under media scanning of MQA option checkbox. I've read online that it references an improvement in sound quality but I'm not sure how this affects my current media and subsequent scans....?

I'm wondering if my HC800 is part of the problem even though it shows is updated. I wasn't having any trouble with the hc800 before this latest update but my security system and one of my relays runs off the 800. I use an EA5 as my primary with 2 EA3s in my system as well.

Yes downloaded directly from Control under my account. Tried 2x and same thing keeps popping up when running the application. I actually have to restart my computer to get the error to go away.

3.1 is total crap so far.... my GE Concord security system is offline.... I can't install the new Composer 3.1 (see error below). Relays not working for garage.... nice update

So I tried installing Composer 3.1 and I'm getting an error with that so there is something wrong with the download I'm assuming. I'm on Windows 10 and the previous 3.0 was working correctly.

I updated my system to 3.1 late last night and am currently running 180 Epic driver and the voice commands all seem to work just fine this morning FYI

Is there any benefit to upgrading to the new 2.0 driver such as response time other than support for new Alexa/Echo devices? I was mistaken in that I actually have the 180 version and everything works just fine now with Control 3.0 so didn't want to change anything if I didn't need to.

So I was updated to 3.1 but now my GE Concord security system is showing BUS failure and not recognized by Control4. It's using the Interlogix driver which was literally just changed to with 3.0 so it was supported as the previous driver in the 2.x versions of firmware was not supported. Seems everytime one thing is upgraded, another thing breaks with Control4.

What are the release notes for 3.1? I literally just upgraded to the 3.0 platform last week and am wondering if I'm going to need my dealer update me already......

I have the 110 driver but haven't noticed anything other than maybe some lag this past week. I had just updated to 3.0 firmware on C4 as well. Do I need to update my Echo driver at this time to the newest version? If you upgrade/update the driver, how is this done firstly and then how do I save all of my previously programmed verbal commands as I have a huge list of commands I've programmed for this driver.

Just upgraded one of my computers to Windows 10- and can now use Composer 3.0

I have Windows 7. Do I need something differently suddenly on my desktop and laptop to use ComposerHE 3.0?

I was upgraded to 3.0 last week and just got around to installing 3.0 Composer HE and I'm not able to connect to my EA5 either. I'm getting the same error as listed above. I'm assuming this is an issue that appears several users are having and not just an isolated incident it would appear.

I do use the native streaming as well (which originally it didn't which is why I used the original Sirius internet device) but was hoping to upgrade to the current model which allows rewinding as well as on demand. It also seems a bit easier to have one broadcast streaming for changing stations that each room can just tap into rather than change each room. For example, when I tell Alexa, TURN ON KITCHEN RADIO, whatever channel I had playing will play using the Sirius Internet radio as the source. However, I would literally have to create a command for every single channel for every single room to do that same thing with the native streaming.

I just purchased a new SiriusXM Sound Station tabletop radio to replace my older generation Sirius tabletop radio. I have been using the previous version to stream Sirius through my control4 system for years which works very well rather than adding room-by-room with the built-in in control for though I do occasionally use that as well. I am wondering if there is a driver that could possibly control this via Ethernet that would allow me to control it easier with control4. My old tabletop radio was controlled by infrared signals that had been memorized into control for by my dealer. However it does not appear that the new remote is compatible with the old remote for RF signals.

I went into settings with the intent of doing that but I wasn't sure what to set all of the other settings to such as subnet mask and such. In fact, when I did try that I couldn't get the EERO to be recognized.....

I just upgraded my previous Netgear router last night which uses Ubiquiti wireless points to the eero system. I've had a ton of issues that are one by one getting resolved mostly based on the IPs changing for devices and such. So far most of them are figured out (Netgear router was 192.168.0.1 now the eero is 192.168.7.1). Here are my issues: 1) My HC800 will not be recognized. I've power cycled, unplugged and replugged cat5 cable in, etc. It will not show on my C4 network. UPDATE I used the identify button on back and it's now back online 2) My C4 amp is offline right now. I have to try power cycling it when I get home later today UPDATE rebooted amp and back online 3) I'm going to have to re-add my LIFX lights to the new wireless network. I'm wondering if I will have to readd them to my C4 project or if they will continue to be linked in the project to the lights via LIFX. It would have been better had the router address been the same as I used to use reservations for most everything.

I'm considering upgrading to 3.0 but was told I would have to upgrade my security driver (GE Concord 4) to the new driver which I had tried before. However, I seemed to remember losing the functionality of 2 of the 4 buttons on the keychain dongle which I use extensively (use them as a garage door opener). Is this still the case that I would lose that function???

So as asked earlier in the thread, what are the actual upgrades other than the visual change of screens for interface? I talked to my dealer today and he said the speed of response time is markedly improved with 3.0. I'm curious if there are any other things as far as functionality that have been added (ie I love when Sirius XM app was added). I know I will have to change my GE Concord security system driver unfortunately.

I use Alexa tied to LIFX which is fantastic because you can tell Alexa to set a room or specific light to a level or color. I use the Chowmain driver to have C4 turn on and off via buttons, remote control, etc

I initially was having that issue but if I remember I deleted the lights and re added them and connected to lights in Composer.

I have the lights and groups bound to their respective lights and have had the names changed in Composer but for some reason 2 of the 3 groups revert back (ie Master bedroom LIFX goes back to Master bedroom brightness)

For some reason my LIFX lights and groups in my project keep reverting to the name of room and BRIGHTNESS. I've changed the names 2x and again the names have changed by themselves. How is this possible?

I actually ditched the Monoprice a copule of years ago as I needed more outputs and it was a bit finicky at times and losing signal. But I did have it controlled by RS232 when I had it. I couldn't tell you much more about it as my dealer had installed it.
