Yes, but you will need to reflash them and use David’s Berto driver to have a local MQTT setup for a reliable control. However this is a WiFi solution, my experience with WiFi is not that great, it not as reliable as C4 Zigbee or any Zigbee BTW. Am moving out of WiFi to Zigbee for everything, so WiFi lamps, Water Leakages detectors, Sockets, etc are all phased out and replace by Zigbee either For Control4 or another solution.

This is for new homes only, am not sure this can be done for existing homes, the idea is to use the 8 relays of Control4 IO extender unit. This is the most economic solution if u don’t use C4 modern Dimmers/Switches which in my case was not needed at all to keep the house as normal as possible. Anyways, u pull a cat 5 or 6 cable from each switch box you need to control to the Control4 IO extender to use the relays. Electrical loads wired normally to the Control4 DIN rail Units, each can control 8 On/Off loads or Dimmers. You dealer program each relay that corresponds (binded) to a specific load, etc.

Yes, I installed 20 around my house, just make sure your box have enough depth to hold the puck, I also used toggle switches to operate them. This allows me to have a normal looking switches all over the house. The rest of the house I used toggle switches hooked to IO via cat6 and Loades to 3 DIN rail panels, the entire house is now controllable via C4 interfaces, panels, remotes, etc.

I have these Pucks and my experience with them is super great, very reliable and just works, I used them around the house to have a well distributed Zigbee Network as well ...

I have DS1 and It’s working with IAnyWhere, just can’t trigger the app, a work around is to program an alert that notifies you then u use the app to open the ineterxom and interact with anyone! I don’t know what it’s not registered in this case!

Not in home automation! I have a pretty complex project with so many drivers and integration points and let me tell you it’s CPU doesn’t exceed 10% utilization most of the time, memory is also flat and half empty ... I hate starting any controversy here it’s just the time and feature that c4 opted to start killing HC while it can still perform for years to come with current technology.

So, delete you iTunes Library, setup it up again and all you issues will gone. Also delete the iTunes folder from music folder on synology, it’s just metadata that u don’t need anymore as u will have a new scan anyways, and let this new iTunes folder created on the BlueIris PC. A much cleaner setup and hassle free as you don’t need to refresh iTunes Library, just reconnect to Synology iTunes Server and all new music will appear in seconds. One last thing, if you have a huge library it will take sometime and u might have the iTunes app hangs, just leave it and see next day if it finishes or u might need to kill it and reconnect again!

Let me explain my setup as I do have HC800 and Synology 415+: All my Music is located under music folder on Synology, many sub folders Jazz/Classics/etc. iTunes Server is running on Synology as well (its an app, so install it and configure it) I have an always-on PC that have the iTunes windows app read all music from Synology Server Indexed Library, so nothing is duplicated either on the server nor the NAS Now, DLNA Music on C4 is configured to read the Music folder on the 415+ iTunes/Airplay Driver on C4 is configured to connect to Itunes app on the PC So I have both DLNA Music and iTunes in C4 Let me know is this makes sense to you?

Am not sure from where you get info about the breakup of Speaker points, but am running 2.10.5 on my HC800 and I can stream everything all over my 2 speaker points that on 2.5.3! Am not sure about EA3 but am sure it should work as well!?

Am upgrading my system piece by piece, audio, HDbaseT matrix, etc. and this have a lot of reprograming. I found each time I do a controller reboot the Driver becomes invalid for the NVR, nothing happened to the fixed cams driver ...

Am on 2.0.9, I have a consistent issue with the NVR driver its always invalid, whenever rebooting controller or doing a massive cleanups it gives me invalid and I have to go through each cam. I’dont have the same with the Fixed driver, stable and never gives any issue? Is there anything I need to do to have this issue fixed?
