I have the same issue, I had tried so many configurations that am tired of it, tried many camera's as well, 1.3m, 2m, 3m and 4m Cams! I only have one good camera in C4 GUI, not able to ever duplicate it to any other camera?!! Had Contacted C4 and gave them access to my system, never came back to me or responded with a solution! I also opened 2 tickets for IOS bug, again, nothing back, reminds me with HouseLogix ... Anyways, I will remove Amcrest driver and use BlueIris as I do have tons of issue with NVR/DVR driver, it always gives Invalid and have to reactivate it every week! I'm also running Cams outside of C4, at least its working great.

Access Agent is universal and will lock down my entire project, If I for instance locked down Change room, everything will be locked down project wise. I need another solution where I always lock the screen and only use it by entering an Access Code.

I need a screen to be fitted in the backyard where I can control lighting and music, need to secure it with a lock PIN without locking entire screens in the project, Is there a driver or something I can use to overcome this huge C4 limitation? There is a driver that allows you to copy entire project, alter it and loaded entirely on a separate instance, I cannot remember what it called, that might work!? And I don't want to use iPad as well.

Hello, had swapped one of the Z-wave locks with C4 Red Zigbee modules, lock identified in project but I cannot detect battery status nor lock/unlock from GUI, might be firmware, any work around or fix for this?

I don’t know, I added 8 then removed most and kept only 4!

Two TV’s are bonded, u need to remove Master Bedroom TV from Guest room. Ask your dealer if u don’t have Composer HE.

I care less about the number, am interested more about the functionality. So whatever 3.0 will bring is more important. It’s time to upgrade for sure but I will definitely wait till the dust is cleared, the future will bring surprises for sure ...

HC800 is a very solid piece of hardware, thought it will not pass end of this year, rumors are all over the place and will die sooner or later in favor of EA and newer controllers. With release 3.0 firing soon, all info will be revealed. Go for the EA5 then replace the TS’s at a later step.

What is the best practice to have director (HC800) restarting; every week or every month? Restarting always fixes an issue, clear Zigbee mesh, etc. or just restart when need to?

They will be on 2.9.1 and will not update beyond this release but they will work fine in your project. Even intercom agent will work, I still have HC based system so not sure how they will behave with EA but I believe they will continue to function till C4 Discontinue them in a future release.

Am using URTSII integration to C4, actually HC250 Serial (Audio to DB9) and never had a complaint. I added in-wall RTS receivers to the entire house and enjoys manual and automated shades control. IMOF my entire house has this dual control mechanism, as my wife hates technology I bought my URTSII from Automated Shade Inc.

You need a dealer to setup DLNA Music driver, this will connect to your NAS and saves you the hassle.

Did you scan your NAS from Control4? You need Composer ME for that, download it and use it.

I use IDteck Keypads that is integrated to C4 via Wiegand -> Serial using Houselogix Control Access Database (HCAD) and a couple of other free drivers for the readers. The reader have both keyfob and Access numbers capabilities, you set up either fob or access code within HCAD for every user, you can also assign time of day and day of week based access to every single user. Unfortunately they are out of this business and not sure where you can buy these drivers or who maintain them. Drop them an email.

Hummm ... If this is the case, I might get a device that is Airplay compatible and hook it up that way as am using iTunes driver and I do have a couple of rooms extended this way, or just get an AirportExpress for the same purpose ... Will experiment a bit ...

Am out of ideas and need to connect a couple of Stereo BT speakers to something so I can connect to it as a zone, any ideas?
