Unfortunately @rf9000 The answers being given to you are all pretty much the same and I haven;t read anything else to support what you are trying to do. I know its really not what you want to hear but sometimes we all have to accept that what we wanted to happen doesn't always represent good practice. T3 are current and i believe the latter is the old type that will work on up to OS2.10.6 but not OS3.

Just out of curiosity what is this based on? As in do you know the project they installed? Would be great to hear the other sides point of view?

Such a shame they didn't use the same shape connectors so you could mix and match so in places where aesthetics are not so important like in the kids bedroom you could use the cheaper plastic launch.

Completely understand their stance if you were a new customer ( and i agree this price would come off the bill if the order was placed).But you're not and I'd say after you spending $100K with them they have stupidly thought of you as a cash cow. Time to find a new Dealer who you feel comfortable with and a relationship you can trust. For you to be even asking the question tells me that it is not there at all.

I have had a mess around with the launch using a iPad mini case and iPad Air 2 case. Have to say really like the build quality ( even thou it’s plastic) and decent low profile. Really strong magnets on the back so won’t move or risk falling off. Do like the way you can have multiple docks dotted around with a mix of wall and table and have the ability to move between them. Haven’t seen the aluminium Lux but not sure the jump in price is worth it.

Just watched it Matt and it’s very clear and super easy to follow what you were doing. Ok it wasn’t the most difficult of topics but that’s not the point of it. As a template to move forward I thinks it’s good mate.

I also believe the Philips hue motion sensor will track temperature.

Totally agree and I too only use white but do also use a hue slider to change from cool to warm.

This is exactly how I use hue and believe in this scenario can compliment C4 very well. I use it for all bedside lamps and light strips without any issue.

Hue bridge is needed.
