pkkaiser
the correct title would be "is here" not "is there" but who cares, the driver rocks! support rocks! Just can't figure out how to update the POS Engineering Solutions DecaBox to work with the new driver because now i am in limbo with a box the legacy driver doesn't recognize (wrong baud rate, that driver worked fine), and the new driver recognizes but correctly notes the firmware is incompatible, so neither work now. Wifey is NOT happy. Wants me to pull all the RGB strips and replace with white strips!! ugh Wish ES support was as good as jackstone! May need to just buy a new ES box and be done with it
jackstone
Sh*t, this is true.. sorry for the bad spelling... This is a bad traduction of how it would be said in French... But anyway, too late, can't rename it and it is now a 5 years old thread (already??)... Ok, about the firmware update, the current version is included in the driver package, have you done the latest update? You need a computer and a serial cable WITH the pin4 present. You don't need any special baudrate settings for the firmware update, but it may not work with all USB to Serial cable... After the update it should be 5.072. Just make sure you're using the DUAL output DMX Engine, the Single output need a different firmware I can post on this forum if needed. And lastly, 5.061 WILL work with the latest driver but will miss some commands, mostly from Group Dimmer and RGB Group Dimmer, thus it can still run 80% of the features. bk
Hi Jackstone I was wondering why my leds stopped working a couple of days ago, when i checked the driver is says offline (I rebooted the DMX controller) but I also notice that the licence key now says invalid. I removed and replaced the licence key and still the same result. Have you any idea why this could be?

jackstone
Maybe Houselogix server are beginning to be phased out and even if they told us the licensing system will stay up forever, I doubt of it... send me a PM with the mac address of your director avec i will give you an offline license code. You will not be able to transfer the license to another controller but a least it will fixe your project.

jackstone
Just a quick update on the new C4 IOS App that kills the ColorWheel view, we have it fixed but had to build separated ColorChanger driver just for the IOS app. It is attached to this post and is a complement of the Advanced DMX Driver Suite v2.2.1 available at Blackwire (will NOT work with the Houselogix version). The IOS ColorChanger driver is also included in the download package from BW. That's complicated stuff a bit for customer with both Android and IOS devices, but you will be glad to see the huge speed improvement and enhanced look of the color wheel on IOS. light_domaudeo_dmx_ColorChanger_ios.c4z msgreenf
jackstone
BW 2.2.1 Version Update Note! For those planning to upgrade their current DMX system to the latest version 2.2.1 available at Blackwire, your Houselogix code WILL STOP WORKING! We can provide you a free conversion to an offline license code but this controller migration will not be possible anymore with offline code. So please be aware of that before upgrading. If you do so, leave me a PM with your current HL code and the MAC of your controller and I will send you your offline license code.
pkkaiser
Unfortunately my system has been broken since upgrading to 2.21 a month ago. So please learn from my mistake: Heed @Jackstone warning and DO NOT UPGRADE your system to the Blackwire version UNTIL you get a new code from him FIRST. I have been trying to get a new code for over a month from @jackstone with no response to emails and PM with my old HL license and EA5 MAC address. I really do not feel I should have to pay a second time for a driver that stopped working because of a migration of servers between companies (Houselogix -> Blackwire). I have loved the service and support of this driver for years (as witnessed by the fact that this thread is 24 pages long!). Hopefully, this issue will be fixed soon, since it is the best driver out there for LED DMX lighting. In the meantime, DO NOT UPGRADE to version 2.2.1 until you get a new license...You will be sorry Any interim solutions to this issue are welcomed! jackstone
@pkkaiser i've responded to all your mails and asked a single question (about the screenshot you've sent): are you still using 1.5.9? This is important to know cause direct migration from 1.5.9 to 2.2.1 is not possible. also, sometime (often) my email @domaudeo.com got trap in spam filter, please take a look
GusSafadi
I purchased the Domaudeo DMX Control4 driver 2.2.1through Blackwire a week or so ago. I have been trying to get the Domaudeo DMX Tunable White Driver in latest version to work. Other Color RGB Driver works great. The Tunable White Driver fails to detect any channels
jackstone
@GusSafadi Grab the latest download package from BlackWire and update the Tunable White Dimmer from your project. Just do an in-place upgrade of this particular driver and ignore the same version warning. For a reason, the Tunable White Dimmer was still at a previous version until I found out yesterday (thanks to a dealer) and it is now fixed.
