Again???

Sure. I suppose this is another ban right?

For free speech and saying things that are 100% common sense?

Well yep, 10 years of wasting my time. I get it..

But like in most cults, common sense flies out the window...

But at least I tried

:)

I admire your persistency, but I think youre barking at the wrong tree.

Sure. I agree. No doubt I am barking up the wrong tree..

Yep. It's just me: Every end user just loves it the way it is...

So I await my fate..

If you want to be heard, buy stock and show up at the shareholder meetings.

Do bots buy stock?

It's in the interests of shareholders to "nickle and dime" end users somewhat.....(...I'm sure that's what the company executives tell them. Not those actual words... but no doubt it's in their in "management speak".. That's the line to dealers as well probably.)..

Everyone gets that. Including enthusiastic users like me.... Don't mind paying for product and service that is keeping up with modern trends...

So You can "nickle and dime" to a point, then what appears to be a "good thing" just goes that little bit to far...

Sooner or later along comes the new wave business model that just blows your previous "beliefs" right out the water...

Amazon is a great example of this...

You either try adapt and change or goodnight...

So no...

Being a shareholder (as an end user) and turning up to shareholder meetings won't be any help.

Some company cultures just don't seem to "get it". I'm starting to think this company is one of them......

Cheers.

Wrong. Clearly, you have never tried this...

How many licks to get to the center of a tootsie pop?

This has got to stop. It’s like Groundhog Day. Go complain somewhere else for the next decade and see if it’s more effective.

I don't believe you. Or, you are different in person than you are as a bot.

Put your money where your mouth is. If you care enough to want to effect change and you believe in the company OWN some it. If nothing else be honest.

Seriously, GET A ROOM.  PM or Facetime or call each other on your DS2s or whatever.

Only if the DS2 wasn’t so crippled and the anywhere intercom app was working.... ;-). Couldn’t resist

@wappinghigh - this is a very good suggestion if you really want to be heard and not just annoy forum members... Pity the poor C4 board at the AGM though.

I run a small listed company and we built a new building a couple of years ago.  One of our neighbors was unhappy about the build (understandably, I don’t want a big office built next to my house).  He was not really heard until he bought 1500 of our 350 million shares and made an absolute nuisance of himself at the AGM.  He also managed to get a few things changed too...

Not sure that I should be posting this - poor C4!

Good luck @wappinghigh

^Sure whatever you think or say. Folks can go on believing the way the current dealer model works can carry the relationship between Control4->dealer->end customer into the next decade, or they can post constructive comments how things might be improved to the benefit of everyone concerned.

Cheers.

Show me even a single anecdote of any of your argumentative ramblings benefitting anyone (other than maybe yourself in some sick way) and I’ll get on board with it.

I love how mad wappinghigh makes people.

I’m not exactly sure why that is.

I never get personal.

Yes it’s a pity it appears I make people mad.

Could it be I see things a certain way about this product and platform we all love, that others don’t?

They then see it, but either aren’t prepared to face up to it, or be honest enough to admit it?

So they heap scorn on the messenger....

Quite cult like behavior wouldn’t you say?

There is that point MSGreen makes though...

That “nothing can be done”, or “Nobody from Control4 reads this forum” etc

It’s a darn good point that one.

However, If that is the case, What a huge negative that is!

Because end users can’t really deliver their experiences or feelings back thru their dealers.

So why is that?

The answer is we end users and our dealers have different stake-holds in the outcome.

That’s not a personal comment.

It’s just a financial fact.

That’s why this forum is so important.

That’s why I don’t believe my posting is trolling.

Others feel different about this... sure.

I hope we can all have different views but remain constructive.

“Different is good”

Cheers
