I am wondering if this is a central C4 issue or if it is just my setup (I have had some odd behavior lately). Is anybody else experiencing any email issues with C4 over the last 24 hours? I have my system sending emails to 3 different accounts -- none of them are working, and my 4sight is valid until June 2023. I just updated to a new version of composer pro, as the last update messed up what I was seeing on my heating schedule -- showing 38 degrees F, versus 69 degrees F. This week I am receiving at most 10% of the usual messages. It is odd because some are making their way through but by far the most or not. When's this going to be fixed? It would be nice if there was a reporting category on this forum for Control4 disruptions. Waiting.... cdcllc Posted December 14, 2022 Share Posted December 14, 2022 @R_Willis I periodically get the same sort of delays with emails from my security DVR motion detection function. It happens all the time and these emails do not go through C4 at all. I get the best performance from C4 push notifications directly to my mobile devices - basically garage door open, close and left open too long messages, plus morning weather forecast from OpenWeather on C4. I've experienced very little latency with push notifications. You might try doing both emails and notifications for a while and see what happens. But at the end of the day, even though general email performance has greatly improved over the years and re-set all our expectations (i.e. I expect that password reset email NOW!!!!!), email was never designed as a "synchronous" communication method.
