  1. You will get input from some of the pros on this forum but everything your asking should be doable given you have the right setup. for example, you will need some type of sensor to know if someone walked in front of your screen.
  2. Just want to point out that the seller here only has 3 posts to this forum. I am not a dealer, but as a long term user I caution all to be careful who you buy from.
  3. Thank you, Merry Christmas, and God’s Blessings to all on this forum.
  4. It’s only been a week, but so far I have to say that I now regret not upgrading to the CA-10 and Core5 when they first came out. Touchscreens, iPhone and iPad apps, cameras, commands are all almost instant. Being a long time user, I think the move from the HC1000 to the HC800 to the EA5 blinded my expectations because each move was a noticeable improvement. But now I’m getting instant reactions. Love it!
  5. Completely unrelated but I love the multiple rooms under the suite in the above example.

    Rinnai H20

@alanchow any chance for you guys to write this driver for the Rinnai tankless water heater? The app that goes with the Rinnai wifi module allows on/off programming of the recirculation pump and setting the system to Vacation mode. Would love to be able to do this via Control4. Considering you have worked with Rinnai in the past for other drivers, any chance you would be interested in developing this driver. I would be happy to purchase the driver and it looks like @Firehawk335 may be willing to purchase as well. Thank you for your consideration.
  7. Just ordered the CA-10 and a Core5. Hope to see improved user experience regarding speed and 4k. Will keep the EA-5 and EA-3 for guest room OSD’s and Zigbee.
  8. Are you sure you are logging into settings using the installer code? Settings - Advanced Settings - Installation - Devices - WiFi Devices - 3rd Party Connections? Once you enable, the system will reboot. You then go back to 3rd Party Connections to generate a token that you will need to enter into Control 4. Be ready, because the token must be entered within a time limit. Bottom line, if you follow the driver instructions carefully, it’s a straight forward setup and works flawlessly from my experience. There is nothing in IQ Pro that says Control 4, it only generates a 3rd Party Connection token.
  9. I have over 80 zones with about 60 of them wired. Plus the Pro includes PowerG and dual-path communications, making the Pro a more cost effective solution for me. But I agree, look at your use case and chose the right product for you.
  10. I have the IQ Remote-PG Touch Panel. But if I recall correctly, they have a few different panel options. After reviewing the driver install instructions, you do need an IQ panel to complete the install.
  11. Are you or your dealer following the instructions in the driver for integrating the panel the C4? I only ask because it was very straight forward to complete this integration. No hassle whatsoever. I do not have screen shots of the install process and I do not plan to reinstall since it’s working. But i can guarantee the IQ Pro integrates with C4. And as i said above, I do have the IQ TP and may have had to use it in setting up the integration, I just do not recall exactly.
  12. Do you plan to add Axis to this driver? If so, any timeline?
  13. Wanted to bring this back up. Any one interested in writing the driver?
  14. If you have a C4 connected speaker system, you should not need a SONOS. You will need to install the Spotify and Amazon drivers and you will need to have your dealer or one of the remote dealers on this forum review your setup. You might need to add an audio connection from your EA5 to your Audio Matrix (assume you have one if you have 12 speaker zones).
  15. What service do you want to stream? Amazon, Tidal, Spotify, SiriusXM all have C4drivers.
  16. I am having the same issue for over two weeks now. System was perfect for years so no sure the issue.
  17. I have the IQ Pro integrated with C4. Works great! Uses same driver.
  18. Thank you. While I’m sure this is a good solution I ended up going with HUE MR16 bulbs using appropriate PUCK Sockets and custom wiring. This is best for me as I already have HUE in my system. With respect to strip lighting, my cabinets already have many secretive puck lights so a puck solution was best.
  19. Resurrecting this thread. Wondering if anyone knows of RGB cabinet puck lights that integrate with C4?
  20. @booch thank you for the complete description above, very intriguing approach. Any chance you can elaborate on how you are bringing the cloud data from Tomorrow.io into C4 for programming. @DanITman any chance you would be able and desire to add Cloud Cover data to your driver?
  21. What are some of the best devices/drivers to program off of the Outdoor Light Level? Note that I already have the Tempest weather station and driver but after a year, my Tempest is not so reliable any longer. It might be the battery, I’m not sure, so I am looking for sometime more reliable. I do have a DS2 if that has a Light Level parameter I can program against. Thanks in advance.
