C4 User

For about the past 4 weeks or so, my axis cameras are no longer viewable on my TP4’s (all of them). My DS2 continues to work perfectly and is viewable. All of my cameras are viewable through C4 on my iPad’s and iPhone’s. When I say viewable, all of my camera icons continue to show on the menu, but I get the wheel of death when I try to view any of the cameras other than the DS2the camera. I’ve rebooted the cameras and the T4’s and all of C4. I am running the latest firmware and all drivers are up to date. Any ideas?

We have multiple guest rooms in our house. Lighting, HVAC and music are all programmed depending guest of not.

This might be a good reason to set up an iPad running 4Sight on your 2nd residence. But I am sure you have thought of this.

It’s not clear to me if the engraving changed or if the new buttons used a different font. Either way, I would ask your dealer to get new buttons.

I am only new seeing the bNet Solutions drivers. Not sure why they are not using Driver Central but i will be getting this icon driver. Thanks for sharing! The Janus BMS driver is one of my favorites!

Can you open the switch box and give us a pic of the wires in the box?

What voltage are the paddle switches?

YouTube TV allows you to order the channels in any order you want. It works great on Apple TV. Order your wife’s favorite channels at the top and she should be happy. Very easy to navigate.

Agree with the above. I have 3 installed in my house and I have a 4th to install once I complete some work. 2 of the 3 are used all the time for cameras, intercom, door station, voice messaging, weather, music (and agree with Tidal integration), security, HVAC by zone, trend monitoring via BMS driver, water, etc. Just depends what you are looking for.

I recommend the AudioControl matrix amps. You can daisy chain as many as you want together. They have been rock solid in my house.

Given that this lock works with Apple HomeKit, is there not a way to integrate it into C4?

Sorry but my suggestion is remove the SAM and get the new infinity driver. It’s fantastic. I say this even if you need to update your thermostats.

@TexasBill very cool indeed. I have actually been thinking about doing the same. My challenge is that I will need to put solar panels on the street side of my roof in order to get enough panels to supply my daytime power AND charge my batteries for night - and this will upset my neighbors and HOA (even thought I legally can do it). Would you mind sharing how much you have invested in your setup, or your estimated breakeven payback in years?

This long awaited driver is a must have for anyone with an infinity or Bryant evolution system. I began using this driver in beta after waiting years hoping someone would write the driver. Nice job and thank you Epic!

My experience is that the iPad works well.

Hoping for a newer DS using current state of technology, that fits the DS2 form factor, soon!

I would suggest power cycling the switch at the circuit panel? Should also try to reset the switch - but will need to search this forum for code to do so. I would also make sure that your switches have a proper ground.

Does anyone know if the DSC Power Series Pro can be integrated into C4?

All I can add is that like @South Africa C4 user I have used this driver for years and it works great. The few times it stops working, I simply reboot my ATV - but I was not aware of the Refresh command and will try this next time to see if it works. If your ATV firmware is up to date and your driver is up to date and you have rebooted both your C4 controller and your ATV, and it still does not work, then I would call your dealer.
