Are you sure you can’t get what you need from one of the remote dealers on this forum?

I’ll be switching my panel over to the IQ4 Pro this weekend. The literature says C4 integration. Does anyone know if the driver is the same as the IQ2 driver or is there a different one? Thanks in advance.

I do not think this is possible, but someone smarter than me may prove me wrong. That said, you can program the two rooms to follow one another.

If they will always play the same source and same volume, you may be able to combine them on the same amp zone, depending on the type and number of speakers you have in the bathroom and shower.

I have the SL4800 (SmartLine) with the Aircard, Flow, and the WeatherStation. It is not cheap, but there is nothing better that I know of, and I know the Rachio, Hunter and Rainbird well. While it does not integrate with C4 (yet) the online app gives you full programming, review, monitoring, notifications. Your yard care specialist can also access the system if you allow.

You can reboot a router with Wattbox. Switching to an internal audio source in event of internet loss I am not so sure.

I find that many of the “functional” drivers developed by 3rd parties are not necessarily adding new functionality but making the programming on that functionality much more efficient. So you can pay maybe up to $200 for a driver that can save you multiples of the in time or dealer programming hours, or both. and I’m very grateful for 3rd party drivers such are the Carrier HVAC driver that allow me to integrate more of my home devices into C4. this is not a weakness of C4 but a BIG plus IMHO.

I suggest you look at weatermatic. Capabilities far beyond the others with regard to programming options, managing weather based zone deficits, monitoring zone Flo rates and zone valve performance. Unfortunately it does not integrate with C4 at this time. I have over 20 zones and travel for extended periods. I need to know if any zone has trouble. I tried Rachio and Hunter and Rainbird. They aren’t even close. But it’s costly.

So I just found out that the IQ4 Pro is being released - combining the capabilities of the IQ4 and Neo. Since I have the Neo, it would be much easier and a few thousand cheaper to switch my Neo to the IQ4 Pro. Would love to know if anyone on this forum has experience with the new IQ4 Pro and if so, thoughts on C4 integration?

Does anyone know if homeowners can get the ELK RP software for programming the elk m1 gold panel?

COM and NO on anyone of 1-4 You then need to program the output you choose.

I know this is off topic but is the elk m1 gold a diy system? Meaning can I as homeowner install and program the system? I currently have the DSC Neo that I plan to replace.

Considering the drop-down menu is for navigating, I must say I really like the speed and efficiency of using the new menu for getting to the screen you want.

What? 3.3.3 has been great for me and I haven’t read much about bugs on the forum. And I assume you mean 3.3.2? Which for me had bug issues - primarily with my cameras and T4s (now fixed).

I love the hamburger menu. Hope they add it to the submenus and not only the main screen in future.

And taking all day is BS. The dealer can easily identify any devices connected via IP and reassign them. If it takes more than an hour I would be surprised.

You need to transfer any assigned IP’s from the I old network to the new network. If you do not know what they were you will need your dealer a one of the remote dealers on this forum to help you.

Maybe not an issue with C4 (the hardware/software) but definitely an issue with C4 (the solution). Users buy the solution, so this is a C4 issue and I suggest you work with your dealer to get fixed. You should not have to compromise video quality or audio quality in your setup.

Interesting. I have a house full of Qmotion shades. They are all working as normal on the latest firmware. Not sure if this is a generic problem or limited to certain brands.
