I used to use that term in my early days working at PC World when handing "repaired" computer back to clients.

Crustyloafer got a reaction from Dylan Hirst in Rotel Michi - 2nd Audio Stream
On OS2 HDMI is set as the highest priority audio connection so if you have both HDMI and Digital Coaxial bound then it will choose HDMI first.
You could try disabling HDMI audio on EA-3 in main driver properties window and see if that fixes.
On OS3 I think HDMI audio has been dropped down the priority list and would also fix this.
Alternatively, put the Rotel Michi in another room in project and then when you want to listen to it then switch rooms and then select Tidal as your source.

Almost zero chance, if there is not a button for those services on the original remote control there will almost certainly not be dedicated IR codes for them, especially obscure apps like the ones you listed.
Seriously, I wouldn't waste your time on this at all.

Personally I would tend to use the  Room Control driver, add the stations you want as presets within the Room Control driver and then assign the keypad buttons to recall those presets.

YepPlease tell where we can get BNIB lighting hardware cheaper than a dealer?Indeed like a train wreck Some would say it's the same. Some would say it's going to cause problems and go against C4 design.

Also, you are custom building a 6,000 sq ft house and complaining about $1,000 price differences on lighting. If yiu want a C4 install here yiu should be putting 5-10% of build cost into tech. Some of that moves from electrical and other budgets. How many hidden loads.
    How many floors.
How is this 6000 ft distributed.
Still trying to help but drip fed info makes this a tough thread.

Hey rf , head over to the control4 forum you will get great assistance there.  And many control4 techs are there Helping as well. You own that c4 dealership then you or your programmers have login.

My question would be, where are you sourcing all this “brand new” equipment other than from another dealer?

This entire thread is just a mess in the making. We have:
    1) End user supplying their own C4 hardware, so will be used and possibly old and likely to be unsupported on future OS releases as well as having no warranty.

    2) A dealer willing to work with said end user supplying their own used kit and advising them against best practices by suggesting multiple keypad dimmers/switches hidden out of sight is the best way to condense control of multiple loads and have just a single keypad visible in the rooms.

    3) An end user asking for advice on here about best practices, been given correct best practice advice by most, ie panelised is the best solution with a large number of loads and a new build, and then still choosing to argue against it because they can buy their own cheaper/used keypad dimmers from eBay or similar.

In my mind, both the end user and the dealer have made their bed, now let them sleep in it. Good luck to you both.

The AVPro Edge AC-EX100-444 also have optical inputs and outputs on them for audio return, why not just use those and avoid the headache of trying to get ARC and anything else that involves having CEC turned on to work reliably.

Good spot... I suspect that was a miss by C4... deleting drivers is way more dangerous than changing names or adding them... in my opinion.

Crustyloafer got a reaction from msgreenf in TVs without discrete inputs
A HDMI switch or a new TV is the best option in the long run from a dealer/installer’s perspective, too many support calls as a result of things getting out of sync.
If I charged my minimum call out charge every time I had to fix it, it would very swiftly work out cheaper to get a decent TV instead.
