  1. I think you must've gotten a bad batch? I have a bunch of these in my house and have installed dozens of these in projects and haven't come across that issue.
  2. Have had great success with Denon, Sony, Yamaha, Marantz receivers.
  3. Was it working before? Power cycling the FireTV or Controller is a good start if it was working before. If it wasn't you probably have end-point issues. Do other devices work to control the volume? Are you using TV volume or a Matrix? Do you have an audio path from the FireTV to the Matrix if you are using one?
  4. I haven't worked much on SR-150's but you could always try binding the back button to one of the colored buttons.
  5. Unfortunately it sounds like you'll need to get your dealer to see if it qualified for RMA.
  6. Have you tried rebooting it? You could also try factory resetting: To reset the remote to factory settings: Press and hold the physical power button and physical mute button while powering on, then tap OK.
  7. Hey John, Your lock might have fallen off the Zigbee mesh. In that case you will need your dealer to leave it and re-join or it might need to leave and factory reset and re-join.
  8. That sound definitely is not right. You can get your dealer to check the MAC address with SnapOne to see it's eligible for warranty.
  9. Probably has to do with the AWS outages. On the C4 Master driver, you might need to re-authenticate Control4. You should see both your Google Account and Control4 account fields filled out. If not you will have to get the links again from the action tab and follow the instructions.
  10. Does the audio still work despite the C4 session not starting? You might try some simple things like power cycling the AVR then trying again. It's odd that you can select the AVR on the Spotify App, but the session doesn't start on Control4. Do you have the Spotify Connect drivers setup properly?
  11. They'll need to use Shairbridge, which allows for playing of music from Iphone. If they want music from a computer they have to use DLNA. This basically allows you to use the Control4 User interface to pick and choose music rather than from an app. More info from Contrtol4: The DLNA Music driver is an alternative to the My Music digital music driver for use where the customer’s local music collection is stored on a NAS drive. The advantages of the DLNA Music driver in these situations are: No Music Scanning Required – The driver uses the information already scanned by the DLNA server. New Music Appears Quickly – The DLNA server can constantly monitor for new music. Searching - Music collections can be searched by Artist, Album, Genre etc. ‘His and Hers’ music collections – it is possible to set up different libraries for different members of the family. Justin Beiber shall never intermingle with your Prog Rock collection again. Tailor the navigation – many DLNA servers allow you to tailor how the information is presented to the user. Some are particularly good for Classical or Jazz collections. It is important to remember that this driver does not scan the music collection or lookup metadata. If customers that have already copied their CDs or purchase music from online stores this is not necessary. It also means that the driver does not edit or change the customer’s metadata. Most NAS drives will provide at least one DLNA server which is usually installed by default. For many installations the native DLNA server may meet all your customer’s needs. However there may be some instances where an alternative DLNA server may meet their needs better.
  12. Yea, your dealer can easily use Migration Wizard on Composer pro to migrate the mesh from one controller to another.
  13. You might have a poor mesh setup, or you might have too few Zigbee units around the affected lights. You want your Zigbee mesh and your WiFi channels to be as far away from each other as possible. Do you know what channels your Zigbee mesh are on? Do you know which channels you're using for WiFi? Usually Zigbee is on 24. If you're using Channel 11 on your WiFi, you might run into issues. You want to use 1 or 6.
  14. Never heard of it. I don't know of any drivers for it, but we usually use Z2IO which have 2 contacts and 2 relays which could probably be used to control it. You would need your Zigbee mesh to reach out to where the garage/gate is.
  15. Great working with you Philip. Glad it's running smoothly now!
  16. Great working with you Doug! Your knowledge on your hardware made it a breeze.
  17. Ive upgraded plenty of HC-800’s to 3.2.x without issue. Sounds like your controller might have bitten the dust. You can try going down to 2.10.6 with device image updated and seeing if that work, if it’s still acting up, it’s probably the controller.
  18. Thank you very much @BrianK. That issue was a tough one to diagnose!
  19. Well Control4 does all of that for you. Do you have a Control4 Controller? The Neeo is the newest remote and is amazing but you can still control of of that with an SE260 remote as well.
  20. You can get Roku TVs that size for 2-300 bucks and then add the black wire Roku Tv driver https://www.blackwiredesigns.com/store/roku-tv-ip/ Probably going to be the best bang for your buck. Most Sony TVs have really good IP drivers but are a touch pricier.
  21. Create a toggle scene on your Advanced Lighting agent, I like to rename it as the scene and just add off, then use that scene to turn it off. Ezpz!
  22. Thank you for the kind words Kevin, always a breeze working with you.
