  1. I personally think the Satin (SW) finish is more elegant and expensive looking that the gloss white.
  2. All you need to do is set the forum software to not allow message posting unless the person is a member. Then have member access based on a question and answer system. In other words, to become a member you need to answer a question. The question can be as simple as: Is it hot or cold in the summer? Most of the foreign spammers or bots cannot answer that question. The forum I manage hasn't been spammed since I implemented this.
  3. In addition to being a Control4 dealer, we are also a Lutron full-shades, Serena Shades and Radio RA2 authorized dealer with excellent discounted pricing. Let me know if I can help in any way.
  4. We are a full shades Lutron dealer. If you need any help, please let me know.
  5. I'm a Control4 dealer too. Which firmware version is it on? I'm running 2.9.1 and Composer is showing the firmware on the T-Stats in my system as 03.25.27 Just looking for a backup to the three we currently have. How much do you want for it?
  6. I can help with Lutron. We also offer discounts on Lutron Serena Shades. www.serenashades.com
  7. Not 100% sure. If you really want the option for both then you'll need an18 ga 4 conductor cable and a Cat 5 cable. Honestly, I would go with Lutron. They have the best motors in the industry and are the most reliable.
  8. Don't do it. If you have the ability to go wired, then go wired.
  9. I don't sell Somfy, but just curious about what you are trying to do?
  10. A former Control4 employee is now head of the Hunter Douglas PowerView team so I expect a not of things to change for the better. I still love Lutron though. :-)
  11. If you want only a few Lutron shades then Serena will integrate just fine. Make sure you buy the Smart Bridge Pro to integrate with Control 4
  12. Lutron is hands-down better than Somfy. Much quieter, shades move at the same speed, 3-6 year battery life, 8 year warranty etc. However, Lutron does not offer a blind retro kit like Sonfy does, nor does it have outdoor options. If you are going with Lutron Tilt (louver) solutions, then you can't use the Smart Bridge Pro or Radio Ra Select -- you will need the standard Radio Ra 2. You don't need to use the same company for all your shading. You can use a combination of Lutron, Somfy and even Hunter Douglas (which actually works well now). We are a motorized shading dealer for a number of companies. If we can help, let me know.
  13. +1 for Lutron Lutron's motors are *much* quieter, and multiple blinds/shades will move at the same speed.
  14. I've never used a Z2IO, but I just looked it up on the dealer site. Unlike past Card Access devices, it doesn't appear to use a battery.
  15. It's my understanding that Eero is on a list of systems *not* to use with Control4.
  16. Can the icon be on the touchscreen's home screen?
  17. Does this mean you can do irrigation scheduling on the Control4 T3 touchscreen? What about the navigator interface?
