Are you using the new drivers? The new ones have 'favorites' and 'playlists' shown right after selecting Sonos.

Version 89 is the latest drivers. The 8.x.x versions of the drivers are the old generation and C4 stopped supporting those about 3+ years ago.

Ah, those are the old drivers. Best to get off of those ASAP.

I'm not a dealer but I can comment on this.  The connection times are slower than they were in OS2 due to an underlying change in the networking technology used to talk to the controller.  The team is hard at work on reducing connection times and we've already made great strides and we're continuing to reduce them further.  We'll be dropping a public beta of the app in the next month or so with these connection improvements and I'll post the link in this thread so if you're interested you can give it a try.  In the meantime, thanks for your patience

I bought some items from this guy and he was great to work with. Good communication and everything showed up as described. Would buy from again.

Although I won't give a timeline or details, this was not included due to time constraints and should be addressed in an upcoming release.

There are two Concord4 drivers, one old one and one new one. If your GUI has the “big round button” on the alarm page, you’re using the new one.

The new one will continue to work. If you’re still on the old one, a dealer can swap out the driver as part of the upgrade process.

Just a note for anyone interested in this driver, I've been running Josh's raspberry pi appliance and the driver for more than a year.  It is the most rock solid piece of equipment in my house, I haven't had to touch it in all the time I've owned it, even though I have frequent power outages in my neighborhood.  I can't say enough positive things about @Joshua Pressnell or this Homekit solution.

I have everything up and running except for Apple Bridge.  App won't connect to it and throws an error every time.  I've tried deleting the bridge in composer and reinstalling it, makes no difference.  app just doesn't allow it to turn on.  anybody else have it working in the 3.0 ios app?

Yes, ever since I found this bug on Saturday.  Went back and forth with C4 during the Memorial Day weekend to try and pinpoint the issue, as it occurred only recently.  I’m glad that C4 were able to resolve this quickly, but it was very stressful to imagine all the projects running the driver not being able to upgrade !
In any case, this is now behind us and we can concentrate our efforts on all the good stuff in OS 3.0.
Sincere thanks to all for your patience and understanding.

As some of you have asked: a few of the 'behind the scenes' (in addition to the fantastic UI / Favorites / Backgrounds / Sliders / etc.) updates in this release include:
LuaJIT: Drivers that support it can use the Just-in-time compiled version of Lua, which speeds up drivers (and saves CPU resources for Director) Rewrite of the AV Pathing engine, which makes AV selection faster and more reliable, and handles more cases properly Media Sessions, which replaces Zones, is a much richer and more standardized experience for multi-room audio and video Standardization of MSP driver parsing / business rules across UIs (much less likely to find an MSP bug in *only* iOS or *only* Android, etc.) There have been a *lot* of other internal updates / changes, but those are some of the biggest ones off the top of my head.
In summary, OS3.0 is a fantastic base for Control4 to continue to grow and innovate.

Very true, except a Ring Door Bell doesn't cost $1k and require you to cut into your brick, cedar, aluminum siding.

Some of these comments seem short sighted.
It’s not like your devices stop working... You just can’t upgrade.
We’re all in our lines of work to make money.  Control 4 doesn’t charge for upgrades, but they should keep developing advancements so you guys can get new features for free using all of your same old garbage? Come on now.
Ooohhh I want the latest and greatest. Cool. Pay for it.
You think in 5 years Ring is going to be handing out free feature updates? I mean how many Rings doorbells are out now since the original? Isn’t the first one pretty much obsolete now? Aren’t the latest models different sizes and shapes from the original too?

Which begs the question.  Why buy Control4 Door stations, touchscreens, speaker points and even slave controllers when it is such a huge deal for Control4 to maintain?  They brag about supporting 13,500 third party devices, aren't we better off buying those whenever possible?

I assume you are more interested in Home Edition Composer.
In programming, there are shortcut buttons for things like ELSE, AND, OR, BREAK, STOP, and DELAY (AND and OR are new...).  Also the ability to add Comments!
In the Navigator configuration screen, you can now use Apply To... to copy device order/visibility for your watch/listen/comfort/lighting/etc menus across any other rooms in the project (this is huge for big systems with several rooms, especially on new setup or adding a new device for example)
"A Programming Summary has been added. Programming Summary is accessible in the context (right-click) menu of any item in System Design. Programming Summary shows all programming including When >> Then sequences created by your customers.  Within the Programming Summary screen, programming can be replaced by dragging and dropping a new command item while holding the shift key."
The Timer Agent now supports the ability to pause and resume programming manually or with programming. Timer resets, restarts, or expiration has been made more flexible.
    START
(if stopped): Starts the timer and executes the started event. (if running): Starts the timer over and executes the reset event. The timer then runs for the full duration. (if paused): Starts the timer over and executes the started event. STOP
(if stopped): Has no effect. (if running): Stops the timer and executes the stop event. The timer cannot be resumed. (if paused): Stops the timer and executes the stop event. The timer cannot be resumed. RESTART
(if stopped): Starts the timer and executes the reset and started events. (if running): Stops the timer, then starts the timer over. This executes the stop, reset, and started events. (if paused): Stops the timer, then starts the timer over. This executes the stop, reset, and started events. RESET
(if stopped): Starts the timer and executes the reset and started events. (if running): Starts the timer over and executes the reset event. The timer then runs for the full duration. (if paused): Resets the remaining time to the original timer interval and executes the reset event. The timer remains paused. PAUSE
(if stopped): Has no effect. (if running): Stops the timer, preserves the remaining timer duration, and executes the paused event. (if paused): Has no effect. RESUME
(if stopped): Has no effect. (if running): Has no effect. (if paused): Continues the timer from when it was paused and executes the resumed event.

Well... personally, I can’t wait for the 28th but surely the gag order has been lifted now and someone who is genuinely ITK can tell us more about the 1,000 feature enhancements... so far we have probably heard about 10 or 20?

Probably the least expensive way would be to get a Global Cache GC-100-16:
    https://www.amazon.com/Global-Cache-Home-Network-Adapter/dp/B0006I3BA2
There is a free driver for Control4 in the online database to control the ports and IO of the GC-100.

Sorry about that.  It *is* a kick in the pants, but it's cost prohibitive to update the Flash UI to support new features in OS3.0, or even to update it to continue to support current features, as there have been many under-the-cover changes (Audio Sessions, Lighting scenes, lock integration, etc.).
My personal opinion (not speaking officially for Control4) is that it's likely that the Android base is likely a much longer-lived platform.  Sadly, Flash player support was basically end-of-lifed by Adobe pretty much at the same time as it was released by Control4 in working products, so the flash platforms were very short-lived for Control4, who has traditionally gone out of their way to not EOL devices that are in-wall.
Again, I apologize for the pain.  It was very unfortunate timing.
The only good news, I suppose, is that your existing hardware should continue to work in the 2.X infrastructure.
